Robo call from URG.  Scam debt collector.

They are relentless. They call day after day and when you don't give in, they change their number. Can they be stopped?

They left voicemail that they are a debt collector & to call them.  Did not leave their name.

It's called a call blocker

I blocked this phone number about a week ago; I saw 10 phone calls from them today, one right after another on my phone log; then they changed the "displayed phone number" to an international phone number (011-855-3233) so the phone call rang through.  I did not answer the phone, but this is harassment.  I have never answered their phone call (as a rule, I do not answer phone calls from phone numbers I do not recognize; if it is important, they can leave a message!!). I attempted to call this phone number and blocked my phone number from showing (*67) and THEY DO NOT ACCEPT PHONE CALLS FROM BLOCKED NUMBERS.  They are relentless.

Every day at 10 AM they always call me. I blocked them.

WHO can STOP these calls 3x a week  ?

 SOMEBODY should be able to stop all the calls that are SCAMS  !!

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! We weren't born yesterday! Sick people belong in the Mental Institution w/ my money hungry sister! HA!

Correct all....this is a scam that never seems to end, and is indeed harassment.

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.

SCAM SCAM SCAM, Robo dialer. They have been calling relentlessly. I know for a fact I do not have any outstanding debts. Blocked one number already and now this one keeps popping up. Drives me mad! I'm the do not call list but does not seem to matter

Got the complaint back from the BBB with a letter from URG they were going to cease and desist all contact with me.  That lasted about a month.  They are also in a class action law suit for their collection practices.  Will be contacting the FTC this time.

These scammers keep calling! Finally I answered, I told them I was going to get them! Of course it's pointless, but made me feel better!

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them .

They have called me over and over again while at work. I'm reporting them.  This is ridiculous.  This kind of bs needs to stop

Received a call @ 0835 from a debt  collector, these people are very persistent. I wonder who are paying  these people, from what I  see here not anyone  is responding to their  calls.

I don't know who they are and frankly I could NOT care less.  I just want them to stop calling multiple times a day.  They start around 8:30AM and call at least once, more before the day is through.  I do not get up at 8:30 AM unless I have some sort of reason to do so and if I knew where they were calling for I'd have a reason, it'd be to beat their phones and machines into a useless pulp.  Oh sure I'd likely end up in jail for destruction of property but at least they'd not be calling me anymore.

Sorry I'm testy today, I didn't get to sleep until after 2am and their wake-up call for the second day in a row has pushed me over the edge.
