I received the same text message.  Why aren't the authorities doing something about these annoying calls and texts.  I got 3 calls today and 2 text messages.

I keep getting calls from various numbers regarding my student loans, which I have, and have a company already.  Now I received the text to call this # because I've been flagged.  I have no idea how anyone got my number.

Got the same text & immediately thought "scam" as I have always paid my loans on time & all communications with my lenders have been through mail or email...never by text!

Same as others. Received text message saying my loans had been red flagged. My financial officer at my university said it was a scam and not to respond.

Just received a call regarding student loan..never had one, nor want one..scam!  this stuff is getting really annoying

Applied last week for a parent plus school loan for my daughter's junior year and received a text today stating my first name and that the federal student loan has been red flagged by the Dept of Education direct load program, Call 855-425-7023 for more information.

It's a big scam - got a text being addressed on someone else name for the red flagged student loan.

8554257023. Student loan scam, no company name, reported to the FTC and consumer Financial protection agency, they said they couldn't do anything because they didn't have a legit name and address for these idiots.
This is my point what good is the Ftc and consumer finance agency if they can't do anything!!! Because they don't have a website   EXTORTIONISTS!  come from overseas that's why, someone need to find these people and arrest them

My husband just got the text this morning with the same thing.  It starts off by saying Hello Mark.....my husbands name is definitely not Mark !  my husband called me about it freaking out, thinking we haven't been paying !  I'm glad I looked this up and found out is a scam !!

Definitely a scam.  I've never been to college and never applied.  Exact wording of the text: "Hello!CHRISTIAN Your Federal Student loan has been red flagged by the Department of Education direct loan program, Call 855-425-7023"

Got a text like Everyone else above and I do have student  however I know department of education handles my loans and they are on a deferrment.  Nice try scammers.

Received 5 texts in a row from this number with a "your account has been red flagged" message. Called and spoke with a rude man by the name of Kal Fanni (phonetic), SCAM
