called a business...left no message...

They Called a Business for AT&T , and i know that was bull [***]!

Got the same call at 10:07am today. Decided to call the number back and got an ATT message saying their office was closed and to call back after 8am. Funny, my call was at 10:17am. Weird S*%t!!

My particular call was to my business, which is an AT&T customer, to review my bill (which they do annually), to determine that I had what I needed service-wise. IMHO, this is a legit call.

It's legitimate. It's an AT&T telesales call directed towards businesses to go over their service plans and upsell if possible.

I know this because my brother works for the/a call center and does this work (don't worry, I give him hell for it).  He likes to cal me from that number when he gets bored at work haha

It's NOT from ATT , they are calling on behalf of ATT, they will give you a teaser discount for couple of months, and jack up the rates. Then you have to waste time calling ATT to cancel.

They also use the number 18554506522

Called my business twice asking questions about my AT&T account (how many lines, how much I pay etc), then began to ask for personal info.  I didn't provide them with any personal info, since I knew this was a scam.

If they were really from AT&T they would already know how many lines I have, and what my monthly bill is, since that info would already be available to them.

It's not a legit call, they are a 3rd party , they may offer a teaser rate, but very soon you will pay more than  what you were paying.
