Just received a call from "donavan".  Yes I owe the money, no I dont have any money.  He said he would take $50 a month payments for 3 months and settle the debt.  (I owe $525.00).  He was reasonable and willing to work with me.  We had a bad accident several years ago and have not recovered so our finances are bad right now.  He said he understood and could tell I had taken out several loans with Security Financial and had always paid them back on time.  They will work with you IF you will try to work with them.

This is a total scam.  Of course they are willing to work with you if you give them money.  A legitimate collection agency would contact you more likely by mail. Even then you must verify who they are and the exact amount you actually owe.

Close any accounts you may have inadvertently given them access to: checking, credit cards, etc.  They can wipe out every penny you have and kill what credit you may have as well.


Run don't walk to your phone, bank etc.  STOP these thieves.

Yes my girlfriend just got a call from this number from a man named Donovan  and it is a total scam cause she has no debt at all everything we have is in my name she has not even one penny of debt!!!!!!!

They recorded message says to call 855-464-7148 ext. 8502 or 8503. No answer though. What's up with that?

I have a loan with security finance. ive been getting calls from the 855 number. I don't have a job. my payments are 25/monrh. in November I sent them a check for 115.00 because I knew this would be last time I could pay for awhile. I thought that since I do 25/ month that when I sent them a check for 115 I would be ok with them for awhile. still getting phone calls, still no job. was I wrong to think that the 115 would make them happy for awhile?

called at work leaving a message with my boss, said he had a complaint against me and was really rude!  Has not called my phone but called my work place,which is not cool

This number called me today and some woman left me a voicemail saying I HAD to call back by 5pm, the voicemail JUST showed up almost 5hrs later....saying she'd be willing to work with me and IF I didn't call back, she'd be forced to take legal action. I tried calling the number back just to see what place was calling, and my phone said 'international calling is prohibited'. So should I call back tomorrow or leave it alone? I'm very confused because the woman had a thick Jamaican accent and DIDN'T say WHAT company she was calling for/from.

I got a message from 855-464-7148 ext 8509. Stated she was Julie. I have no idea who she is and what she wants. . Called keep coming.

I received a call from Wanda telling me to call her at 855-464-7148 ext. 8502. Telling me to call her, she left a message on my job and on my cell phone. She was nice and I could understand her. SCAM.
