All of a sudden my computer began to talk end warned me that I got a spyware in my computer, so I should call this # 855 472 9850. In the same time I saw a window imitating the microsoft official website with a pop up box showing the same warning with a same phone number. Closing the pop up box on the fake site there was no any "live" link, it was just an image similar to microsoft website with the known icons of microsoft office etc. I called the number, big noise in the background and the "gentleman" said that he "needs to come into my computer", I asked him, how I should know that he is microsoft support he hung up on me.

I actually called this number and they said they were located in New yook and has a foreign accent.

I just got this same message on my computer. I called the number and the first sign that this is a scam was that there was no automated speaker. The gentleman just answered the phone with "HELLO". I told him that I would have to call him back. I never called back.

Phone number used by scammers who put computer viruses on computers then try to hold it hostage by forcing you to pay them to remove it under the guise of them being a computer security firm. Use your security software, delete cookies, check program directory for any recent down loads. Search internet for the web address on the message.

This is a malware company who infects websites that you visit with a popup that warns you your computer has been infected and to call this number to receive Microsoft assistance to remove the virus. Your system is NOT infected nor are these official Microsoft employee's they are just pond scum that pray on unknowing people.
