I owed from a payday loan from 2011and needed to pay $350 today to avoid a court summons

1. IF there really was a summons, you would not be warned  - and you can not buy or talk your way out of it once it is issued..
2. It is illegal to claim to be an attorney if they are not licensed.

I received call from 323-205-1693. They told me I was going to be served (strike one - you don't get a warning of service). They called back the following day to say I missed the summons but I needed to call 855-477-0512 for details on case # 2016-140-154 (strike two - details are not given over the phone). When I called the number, they claimed to be a collection attorney but were willing to take payment to avoid court appearance (strike three - if this were a court case, they would go for every dime they could get, not settle for a payment over the phone). Don't be their victim. This is a big scam. For people to work this hard to scam money, they have what it takes to properly earn money! Sham on them!!!

Just got a call said from a payday loan I went thru three different people and none would give me there name so I told them I would go to court he got pissed and hung up...what is scary they have my ss#..the rest of the stuff they can get online...so tell them to eat$##$&_-+ and hang up

These folks called my mother and told her that it was a civil matter and that I needed to call Joyce at 855-477-0512 and also had a case number.  I called back and got a voicemail, told them never to contact my mother again and that they should only call me if this is for real.

They called my grandmother telling her they were trying to contact me to serve me with court papers. I called back the number and they told me to call 855 477 0512 and gave me a case number. When I spoke to someone they said something about a cash advance from Jan 2011. I think its BS.

Received the same message. Only they called a relative and asked the relative to give me a message

I was being served unless I send in a payment!

I received the same call, stating I owed from 2011. If it's taken to court I have to pay 1309, I can make 4 payments of 189. Or I can pay a 1 time fee of $350. It's a scam

I received a call from 855 477 0512 they gave me a reference number 2016 415 972 and said i needed to be home to sign for the summons between 9 and 4pm. I called the number back they put me on hold I hung up after 3 minutes of waiting.

Called my grandmother to tell her to give me a message that I need to call 1855-477-0512. It's a legal matter and a crazy case number that's not real. my brother is a lawyer and looked it up and it's not real don't fall for it! I will be looking for these fake people to sue wrong person to try and scam with my brother being an attorney who can see everything!

Called my wife's son who lives in another part of the state and asked him to have her call about a court summons. Provided callback number and case number in the same format as provided above. 2016-nnn-nnn

I got the same Scammy phonecall

Received a call from 346-201-6348 looking for my son and saying they are with Civil Procedures. She gave me a case number and phone number that was urgent for him to call. 855-477-0512.i called the number and they answered Walker Associates.

Just got a call for some jerk saying that they have been trying to serve me papers. The call came from Texas. He told me that I needed to call this # 855-477-0512. So I did and spoke to a women named Jamie, who was a f*cking peach to talk to. She kept wanting me to confirm my Social Security #. I told he that I wouldn't and she got mad at me and said we will see you in court and hung up. Little did she know I work for an Attorney!!

Received call from 346-201-6348 TX number from a guy saying officer has been to my house several times to serve me paperwork but has never reached me...When i asked what this was about he cut me off and continue to speak about how i need to call i asked again what company this is for and more info he got attitude with me and proceeded to say he only has a name and number to call i would have to call if i wanted more info..he then advised if you dont want the number then fine thats on you but i dont know what happens to you if you dont call so you make that choose...I proceeded to explain i have family in law enforcement  and if i had a warrant out for my arrest of a summons i would know about it... he then said i dont care if you do or dont im just letting you know and warning you with a courtesy call...
No place of business is going to disrespect you or talk to you the way this man did... and if it is something that actually was dealing with a courthouse he would have more info to provide for the person he is calling...Not just a name and number...I believe this is a scam!!

Received call, gave me a case number and the 855 number.  When I called, they said the info they had did not match what they had, so I would not be receiving a summons.

I just received the call from 855-477-0512. That I have a summons and I need to call the same number they called me from because she didn't have any information for me. Apparently you and I have the same case number. I know this is a scam. I asked why they didn't serve me with any papers and she said that's why I need to call them so I could give my address. I told her, if they have my phone number then they should have my address.

Called and asked me to call my son about a civil procedure and that it was a summons.  A SCAM !  The number was 855-477-0512 and a case number starting with 2016----
