Caller called twice, didn't leave a message. (Vancouver Island, Cowichan Valley)

it went silent and then hung up.

Called two or three times, no message. Vancouver.

This is a third party for Royal Bank of Canada - calling regarding long distance talk and save program.

Confirmed with RBC that this is in fact a phishing fraud and that the number has nothing to do with them.

I keep getting calls from 855 480 0412 but they leave no message. just hang up and dial tone. very annoying

Person called on behalf of Royal Bank offering long distance services.  when told caller I was not interested in the business, he said if I was not interested in saving.. I then told caller I was going to report call to RBC... I think this is fraudulent call

I told the woman on the phone that I had looked up this number and I knew it was a scam. She said "a SCAM?!" all indignant. I said that RBC confirmed that this number was not them. She said that was totally not correct. Whatever, I told her I didn't want her to phone again and she said fine in a really angry tone and hung up, haha.

According to my phone history, I have had around 6 or more calls from this number.  It was an automated number asnwer stating that EMS systems was indicating that Royal Bank wanted to contact me and that they would be calling back.  So, that is what the above number is connected to.  I'm glad I found this page and if I happen to answer this number, I'll tell them to remove me from their call list, which I believe by law, when this is requested, the caller is supposed to do so.

They also called me and always leave a message with no message! Glad to get some info. Thank you all.

Very push, claimed to be a 3rd party for RBC -
RBC does have a talk and save program.  
RBC looked up the number and it not one of the numbers registered.  So they think it is a scam

Also the thing that seemed very strange is you get 30 free mins on your phone by dialing a phone number and access code... UMMM NO [***] THANK YOU.

tried to call it back with google so that way my phone number is hidden and it rings for 14 seconds then hangs up.

I have received several of these annoying phishing calls on my cell.  How do I get  My name and number off their list asap?  How did they get my confidential number in the first place

They do not need to get your number! They generate all numbers.

These people call EVERY day, at least once....... usually two or three times. Phone is on message when it automates the message they hang up.  Never leave a message.....very annoying
