Merchant services. The service credit card machines.

Phone rang, I answered - no one responded so I hung up.

Nobody there when I answer!
I want it to stop!

I got the same phone number called me and lets me a message regarding about credit card machines, they wants me to call them back this number 855-496-3278, before I call them back I surely checked their phone number on unknown caller and checked all feedback from everyone on google. After I reviewed all feedback I will not call them back at all.
A lot of Identity theft going on this day , you should be alert from stranger.

English speaking no accent female left a message and said said there was a mandatory update on our credit card machine, and to call this number. We don't use a machine, we use a computer, and our processor is local, right down the street and would never leave a message like this, which was from a private number. Clearly a scam.

Called and left message for me to call back.  Did not

Sent me a text msg saying, "Can't talk right now ... I'm on my way."  I did not reply nor did anyone meet me.

They left a message saying there was a mandatory update for my credit card machine.  I'm sure that if I had answered or if I was foolish enough to call them back the mandatory update would require that I give them all of my bank account info, passwords, credit card numbers and mother's maiden name. Awesome.

I received a call regarding a "mandatory update to my merchant terminal."  The call came in at 10:10 AM on a Sunday morning, which are not my prime business hours!  I called Amex back at their well-advertised number, and they knew nothing about an update.  It's a phishing scam.

Its an independent merchant services agency - National Merchant Services. They are using the security scares to try and get clients by telling them they need to update their credit card machine. I called and confronted them and they were rude and hung up on me.

Scammer telling me about a mandatory credit card processing update. We have not credit card processing, just fishing for private info for a scam.

Our business received a call from this number claiming to be Merchant Services with mandatory updates to our credit card machine.  Coincidentally we have Merchant Services as our credit card servicer.  I called the number back and the lady was trying to give me this credit card machine.  I was suspicious so I called the number on the bill we get and was told that this is a scam, we do not need an updated credit card machine.

Left message about mandatory update of the emergent services account with visa and mastercard security. I dont have an account with emergent services, nor have i heard of them. will not call back

Stated that my CC needs updated.

Left message on Sunday at my business stating I needed to call back for a mandatory update according to federal regulations, I just about did but decided to check it out online first .... glad I did - will NOT be calling back.

They called over the weekend saying there was a mandatory update to my merchants account mentioning Visa and Mastercard. I'm leery of all unsolicited calls. I'm glad I checked here first. I don't have time to be bothered with the BS from these scammers.
