Shady.  My relatives and friends that never met got called…could be the internet in its glory…or it could be related to job applications, rental applications, or even charity/volunteer work.

Requested the last 4-digits of my social security number before they would tell me what's up.

"Mail it," I told the lady.  If the sanctity of the mail is good for other legal documents, this should be no different.

Better yet, I could just go pick it up from them and get right to the heart of this mater.

Received phone call from "Private caller" saying it was process server Becky Winslow asking for my daughter who just passed away May 12, 2014. The message on my answering machine said she should call 855-497-6677 and gave a case number. Each time I try to call this phone number I get a message that the call can not be completed at this time.

Received several calls, didn't answer, from a Andrea White, who left a very stern sounding message, saying she had been to my last known address, my last known employer, and had "documents" for me.  She didn't say my address, or employer, or what the documents pertained to.  She left the 855 497 6677 number for me to call, with a case number, or she would be back to both my employer, and address, the following Monday.  I called the number after a reverse search, which turned up nothing, and was connected to a Kathy person.  She informed me she needed my last four digits of my SS#.  I informed her of my lack of stupidity, and also that I don't give out any of my SS# to anyone unknown.  She started quoting state, and federal law that she couldn't give me any information about my "case", without it.  I told her to call me back, with the number they had for me, and then I would listen, and record our conversation, because my lawyer had advised me to.  She hung up without another word.  SCAMMER. They have not been to my house, I have a security system, they have not been to my employer.  Don't be fooled by these people, this is not the way a legitimate server, or arbitrator company does business.

Received similar call July 31 as Pops above of trying to reach a known relative, however, message stated caller was a different name than Andrea White. Stated was to house and previous employer to deliver documents and provided a case number.  This is not legit. Please be aware, it's a SCAM.

I also received a call this morning and a Stacy Miller left the same message about Arbitration Services ....  She said she has been to my home and place of last employment, But, I don't believe anyone like that has been to my house and to my last place of employment. My last place of employment is in a different state and about 600 miles from where I live and they have been out of business for several years. I do believe that this is some kind of SCAM. ... They said they would be back.   I am not going to hold my breath.  .....  Don't give out any information until you see them eye to eye and they can give you proof, then investigate them before giving any information.   .... Be sure to take their picture and auto tag number, and anything else that may help police to investigate and charge them with crimes.

Hey Puck, the same woman by the name Stacy Miller called me yesterday and again this morning.  She gave me some song and dance about some legal paperwork that she was trying to serve me with and stated also she had been to my house earlier this week (NOT) that was in the first message she left , said also that she would call an hour before coming out(still waiting). The call this morning was different gave me some 855 number to call along with a claim number. When I asked what was this or who from she never said. SC AM I'm thinking too...When and if she shows I'll be ready with my neighbor who is a police officer.

Yup ....  .....   SCAM ..... SCAM...... SCAM  ....  She said that she would come and give me telephone notice also.  Do these people think that we are some kind of stupid? .....   Never got the cal, nor did anyone ever show up.

I feel so sorry for the people that fall for this SCAM.  ....  Some law enforcement needs to follow up on who owns this incoming number and see that these people are taken care of.

My sister, my mother and my brother got the same call for me...oddly enough they did not call MY number which I have had for 10 years...fyi - service processors don't work that way. The only way a person can send a processor to your door is to have a legal matter pending in Court or a judgment against you...that is easily checked by calling the Clerk of Court where you reside...AND THEY DO NOT ASK FOR YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION !!!

This phone call is a SCAM for the purposes of debt collection from a "lawfirm" called Arbitration Services in New York. In my case they also were threatening to "serve papers," and had supposedly already been to my last known place of employment and my last known home address. When I called and said the debt was not legitimate (I didn't recognize the name of the bank involved), they threatened to file suit. But they can't file suit, because they said the last payment on the account was made in 2007 (a bold faced lie). Even if that were true, they still can't file suit because the statute of limitations in the State of Texas is 4 years. If they haven't filed suit by then, they don't stand a chance

I got another call from these slimballs and with the same message that I got before, and with the same message you get, from a Stacy Miller.  I called their call back number and they said the  that this number  ( 855-497-6677) was only a call IN number and that she could not call out.  I didn't give any information about me and called from a number that doesn't have a caller ID number.  ... I asked for them to not call me again .... she wanted to know my case number .... I didn't give her anything .... She told me to go find something else to do and hung up on me.   .....   I think I might just keep calling everyday or so and keep asking them to not call me anymore.  ... That might help to keep them busy so they don't call all of you with this crap and they might go find something else to do.

Not only did I receive several calls, but so did my mother, my wife, and even my sister in law.

This "company" began the conversation by saying they had information for me, and provided a case number for reference. They asked to confirm the last 4 of my social. I gave it (not a big deal to provide last 4), and then she rattled off the entire number to confirm I was indeed the person she was looking for. The call was in reference to a debt I supposedly owed. The debt was 10 years old, and I was threatened with two civil judgements. These judgement titles were criminal in nature, and absolutly laughable. They use this tactic to SCARE you into paying. Pay X amount now, or else face judgements plus pay triple X amount. They threaten to come to your place of business, to serve you papers. It's all lies!

DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE A PENNY. They are obviously a scam, and likely a bottom feeder scum junk debt buyer. Google the company, they don't exist. The statue of limitations in my state have long passed, and these fools have no leg to stand on whatsoever!

These losers make a very believable case, but don't fall for their lies. Absolute scam.

So far in the last couple hours they have called me, my ex-roommate from 3 years ago, and my new husband, and have freaked everyone out.

They call from a withheld number and leave this number.

Becky Winslow was the caller on mine.

    wrong number
Mrs. Fisher has left messages for me 3 X's now for my mothers ex-neighbors. They called my mother too- both from anonymous numbers. I have no idea how they got our numbers,  but I am really freaked out by this. I assumed this was legitimate so I called the person to let them know,  but now I will call them again and warn them. They said all the things written in these other comments. Horrible people!!!!

I just received a voice mail message on my cell phone from an unknown number that left the number (855) 497-6677 as their callback number.  A woman said she was calling for a man whose name I don't recognize (the name sounded vaguely West African, but I am not certain).  She said she'd attempted to deliver legal documents by visiting his last known places of residence and employment, and wanted to let him know she'd be visiting again tomorrow between noon and 5:00 p.m.  She left a case number as well.

My voice mail message clearly states my name, so there should be no confusion about who she's calling.  I've had this same mobile phone number since 2002, so there obviously wouldn't have been anyone else using it in many years.  No one by the name she mentioned has previously owned my home, etc., either.  And if she's desperately trying to reach this (hypothetical) guy, why would this be the first time she tried to call him?  Shady.

I'm not calling back.  Sneaky how they called from an unknown number with no caller ID so I can't block it!  I'll post again if they call back.

    Nice try
I just got the same call from a Jeff or Jack Stone. He called my cell asking if I was there, I said who is calling please and he hung up. Then he called my boyfriend who said "this isn't her phone, but this is her boyfriend, can I help you?" and he hung up on him too. He then called my sister twice and left some very serious voicemail about Arbritation Services and important documents and if I don't call back today and put a stop request, they are coming to my work and home tomorrow. He left the case number as well. SO glad you people are around posting away to give me peace of mind to not give these guys any of my time and worry!

I posted yesterday that I received a voice mail message from an unknown caller yesterday morning, and said I would post again if they called back.  I just received another voice mail message from the same person, and wrote down more details this time before I deleted the message:

    Caller's name: "Mrs. Fisher"
Calling for: Frederick Gotangu (spelled phonetically; not sure how it's spelled)
Reason for calling: reminder that Frederick is on Mrs. Fisher's schedule for service today, and she'll be stopping by his last known residence OR last known place of business sometime today.
    Claim #: RTG205
    Claimant office number: (855) 497-6677

SHADY!  I'm not calling back.  It just stinks that I can't block an unknown caller.
