    Charged my cell phone 9.99 Horoscopes.

    My mom noticed her cell phone bill was higher than usual. Pulled the bill and noticed she has been charged $18.98 from a company for horoscopes. Cell carrier gave me a number to call to request a refund. A nasty lady saying she was located in Phoenix Arizona. She said she can not give refunds because she requested the service with a pin of which she didn't. After 20 minutes on the phone she hung up on me.
    I'm not really what I can do to get the money back?

    We found a charge on our cell phone bill for $ 9.99. I called T-Mobile about the charge and they gave me the number  listed above. I asked about the company. All they could give me is the name of the company and the above number.  I yahoo'd it and found this number is related to a company called Premium Customer Care in Brooklyn New York.  I researched the issue with my son because it was related to his number. It was a text message that gave him an option of yes, I want horoscopes or no I do not.  The answer "no" to the text message cost me 9.99 on my cell bill.

    The call to the company was a 15 minute wait with the recurring theme of "Please Hold, your call is being registered". They gave me a time of how long the wait would be. i was on hold at least 4 minutes longer.  

    When I spoke to a "Resolution representative" she told me that the text ad is sent. The customer, my son, responds with a yes and sends the answer.  The terms and conditions are sent along with a passcode. When that t&c and passcode are sent, the 9.99 is simultaneously charged to the account. This would imply that the terms and conditions cannot be read or previewed before the charge is made. I told the PCC rep to discontinue the subscription.  She did.

    I called t-Mobile again. When I got to a customer service rep. she heard the story, related that she has been "conned" but not charged. She was gracious and took the 9.99 off my cell bill.  T-Mobile made good on it and also blocked the number from my phone.  very impressed with tmobile. angry at premium customer care.  I am blocking this number.
