I received a mailing saying I won an E-Pad touch and all this other stuff ant to call this #. It must be a scam.

I would bet that they made up that permit number to send this at our own expense.

Feels like Timeshare Scam crap to me.

I called the number on an unlisted telephone. This is a promotion for direct buy.  You have to attend an open house and qualify.  Qualification includes making $50,000 or more annually. If you don't make that much you can't even attend the open house.  If you go and get the certificate for the free epad... You have to pay shipping and activation fee.

Thanks for checking this out. I got this same promotion from Directbuy and was wondering what the catch was. Mine was for either a free e-pad touchpad or an Amazon Kindle.  I think I'll pass on the open house...

This is not a scam!!!! They just want you to simply attend an open house and you get it whether u join or not I got mine in Bloomington MN they were so nice trust me they are not a time share or scam go to directbuy.com and do your own research it's just smart marketing!!!

I got a similar note in the mail about the Epad.  Direct buy.  Strokers....

In bloomington i am to attend tonight.  Is it true you get a certificate only and then have to pay shipping and activation fee?
