Who is this?

Seems that these people are pretending to be a process server and claim that I will have to sign some sort of legal paperwork as if it has something to do with a family matter. They even left the message with a case number. Never mind that they only have part of my name and they called my girlfriends phone number not mine.
Let's also never mind the fact that there is no reason whatsoever that anyone would be serving me legal paperwork without sending it to my home via a sheriff's deputy. I am only to assume that they want my identity info so they can use it. Funny, they'd no doubt want to give it back if they saw my credit score that my ex wife left me with.

Had my 1st and last name acted like it was some legal issue and they were going to serve me with some sort of paperwork. Bring it on I guess they are not familiar with the Fair Debt Collection process in my state but boy are they in for a suprise....DON'T BE FOOLED PEOPLE their is no Debt Collecters Jail....

In a lot of States it is Illegal to represent yourself as an attorney to collect a debt. It is also illegal in some states to threaten legal action such as being arrested. It is also known in some states that ONLY the original debt can be collected by the original debter and no 3rd party has any claim to any money.

First received a call on my cell phone and then a call of my home phone Jackie Smith indicating she was a licensed carrier that received my information from some arbitration services. Her message was almost threatening in that she would be paying me a visit tomorrow between 12 - 4pm to sign some paper work and i would need to provide two forms identification and a witness be present. She left a case number beginning with DC and the phone number of 888-515-3514. I contacted the phone number and it's an automated services. Thisuncomfortable and I'm more concerned that some crazy person will show up at my door?

These types of calls are illegal in every State of the Union, under the FDCPA.

I also received a call from this number with the same message, they would come to my house to deliver paperwork and I must
sign for and show ID. They had part of my name wrong. I asked what it was about but they said they were not at liberty to
give me any information.  This must be a scam.
