extremely unprofessional caller. Personally insulted me as I was trying to gather information to assist. I will be making further attempts to report this. I was not even the person who they were looking for or had the debt. Insulted the person who was in a bad situation as well. Unacceptable!

They left a message for someone not living here about bad check and how we could handle it.  Called back and asked simple question of what company they were representing and their name.  Neither of which they would give, but proceeded to be extremely rude to me and hung up.(easy indication they weren't legitimate - you aren't rude to the customer)  Called back again because they had pissed me off and they said they were with Texas Arbitration and when I pushed for further info - they again became rude and hung up.  I called back and told them they have been reported to the attorney general and I  hope they have a nice day - they didn't seem to like that.  Hopefully will get taken down.  I can just imagine them preying on some people in bad situations who were afraid to fight.

they called me and said they were with police station getting ready to come to my job to arrest me

I recieved a message for a very nice sounding lady, she said she was Jasmine White looking for _______ , she said she needed to acquite a signature for a Tax Levy before showing up to court and name a crime and then the docket number.

Left message on cell that I had been officially notified by state and federal law about something.  Hard to hear the voicemail.  Said she would be coming to my home with someone from the Sheriff's  Dept to serve me with some kind of papers and I should secure all firearms and large dogs if I had any.  She also said I should make arrangements for any minor children to be cared for and placed out of harm's way.  WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This sounds a little threatening to me.  She never said what reason she was serving me or what kind of papers she would serve.  Sounds like a scare tactic to me.  I think I will call the attorney general's office and my local law enforcement and report this call.  

I got the same message today so did anything ever happen with you? I have my firearms loaded and ready and my dog on high alert. Completely threatening and unprofessional. Why send off my kids is there gonna be trouble? Sounds like an home invasion plot to me!! I think I will also call the attorney general's office and my local law enforcement and report this call.

I Received a call the past 2 days. The Second call was from a Lisa Cummings stating "she would be coming to my home with someone from the Sheriff's  Dept to serve me with felony papers for bank fraud and other charges and I should secure all firearms and large dogs if I had any.  She also said I should make arrangements for any minor children to be cared for and placed out of harm's way. I answered and gave me a website of www.napps.org. When i searched her name on this site i was unable to find her on there. I contacted my attorney and we called the number that contacted me first. The denied any involvement in this. Sounds like they are using illegal tactics to collect bebt.

I received the same type of call about felony charges and that the lady and a deputy were coming to detain me and the same crap about securing firearms and dogs and arrangements for children.  The funniest thing is the first time she called she said the wrong county.  Called back and left the same exact message with a county I used to live in in VA but over 5 years ago. It is against the law for debt collectors to say:
-You will be arrested if you don't pay your debt
-They will seize, garnish, attach or sell your property or wages
-falsely claim that you have committed a crime
etc...If anyone has done so, file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission

Internet sent me to this number indicating it was for United Airlines...the person answering knew nothing about United Airlines
