I received a letter from this company who has my social security number saying they are putting a lien against my bank account, now sure who they are..

No Crossman and Associates that I can find.   I think these people are Delaware and Associates.  Not certain.  

What address do they show on the letter, assuming you got it US mail.

I receive one too. did anyone find out what they are? are they a scam?

SCAM!  Google Wes Alford in Arizona.

I received a letter from Crossman and Associates who are said to be representing Cogent Financial Group, Medicredit. I then googled Wes Alford like everyone else suggested. I came across this article: https://getoutofdebt.org/47122/medicredit-deb ... media-as-weapon

The business address keeps changing. It doesn't make any sense. My family then received a random phone call from a guy  at an unknown number who just asked for his name and then hung up. Shady? Yes.

Are there any updates on this?

That is a COMPLETELY  ILLEGAL letter and all of you need to report them!!!!

its Cogent Financial, ive been dealing with them [***] since 2003, although i do have to say this one is a new tactic.....

We got a letter to with the same number. Someone answered they were rude telling my wife to shut the f...up . They said they were putting a lien against our bank account.
They had my social security number too. Very rude and mean woman who finally answered the phone.
The other phone to Crossman & Associate no one never answers it.

Wow! That's all I can say about this scam. Got a letter from crossman. Sent a "validation" request in writing. In return I received a "failure to appear" from Gibson, Dunne and assoc. Threatening to lein my account. Same scam. Different names.

That address is a UPS Store in the Pima Crossings shopping center in Scottsdale.
