- Monique ClagueI did not answer. My phone cuts off this kind of number after 3 rings. But I have been called before about some kind of travel travel membership I do not have and in which I have no interest.
- Yan| 1 replyI did give my information to some phone call about travel discount deals in 2009. But I told them took me out of the list in a few days within the days I was allowed to change my mind. Years later, I got calls all the time about the travel deals I sign up with them. Today the sale rep told me that A)I pay 499 for the life time one time deal of travel membership, orB) 890 fees for the years of membership fees I owe them.

I asked for them to send me something because I'm not just going to pay something because they say I owe it. I wanted proof, they refused got really nasty and said they would send the account to collections, they said I should have all my contracts from 5 years ago even though this is a different company. I got another call today from the "account manager" saying he was reviewing the file and trying to avoid anything, I asked again for something in writing they said they would email me. DO NOT JUST PAY THEM!
- SusanTried to tell me I owed them money on an acct I never had bogus number wanted my credit card number their phone number is 855-529-2353 x0014

- AnnI just got a call from Mytravelpassport.net at the above number. He told me I had an account with them
for the last 5 years and the last time I used it was in 2011. I told him I don't remember buying anything
with them and he said I paid $599 and have 4 weeks I can use every year. He could even rent those
4 weeks out for me if I don't use them and I would get $5,000 in rental fees paid to me. I asked him where
I own those 4 weeks at and he couldn't tell me. I then asked him where I last went in 2011 and he couldn't
tell me. I could tell this was a scam from the start and I asked him if this was Cheaptrips? He said no. I had purchased Cheaptrips about 5 years ago for $99 and then when I found out they were a scam I put
the charge into dispute and won. A year ago I started to get phone calls from another travel company saying I had been with Cheaptrips and they took over their account so I thought this was them but they
said no. I called Cheaptrips cheap tricks. I told him I needed to have a website to look at and he directed
me to login to joinme.com or join.me He gave me a code number to put in and then on my screen came up different
places I could go starting at $299 a week. I asked him if I would pay that for a week starting at $299 a
week and he said yes. That told me that he lied to me when he said I owned 4 weeks. I also saw the
website that he was referring to because I have that Getaway website available to me with my timeshare
that I own and is legitimate. I believe RCI also has that website. He told me I need to activate my account
by paying $499. I told him about that website available to me at my timeshare site and he became very
quiet and started to mumble. I then told him I also own a Vacation Club in addition to my legitimate
timeshare and not to call them again. I think I gave you enough information here that you can see this
is a total SCAM!- Caller: Mytravelpassport.net
- CarolI got the same "canned speech" about how I could get my account in good standing - they purchased cheap trips and said that I was due a free trip - I just had to pay the $499.00 to get back in good standing and they would send me anywhere I wanted to go - when I told her that I was not interested she got pretty indignate and asked why I would pass up an opportunity to travel for free - I said it's not free - I have to pay $499.00 she hung up but they same number has called me back again today....I just didn't answer!
- Caller: Cheap trips - now passport
- SusanI just got my second call from this scammer. The first time they told me my account had lapsed and I could reinstate it by paying $499. Today they told me I had signed a contract and was obligated to pay $499 and they would charge my credit card ending in four numbers. I didn't, of course, recognize those four numbers so I asked me to tell me the name of the issuing bank. They said they couldn't by law tell me that. I yelled at the caller that I wasn't going to pay them anything, and the caller yelled at me: be that way. I hung up.

- GwenSomeone from the company calls at least three times a week. I don't always answer when I see the number on the caller ID. They never leave a message. When I speak to them they say that I owe them money because they bought my account from CheapTickets. I had a lifetime membership with CheapTickets and never used it. They said in order to be in good standing to sell, rent or use it or to just get out of it, I would have to pay $499. Although they said I really owe fees of $900. I never bought anything from them or heard of them until they started calling me. I informed them that I would not be giving them any money and to stop calling me.

- CherishI just received a phone call from this number. They ask for me and I said this is she. He then said that I had a membership with them. I said I do not and never did. He then said to me that he had my e-mail address, home address, phone number and my credit card number that I used when I bought the membership. I then said to him I never had a membership with them a I do not have a business in my home. I then said you are a SCAM and a FRAUD and if I ever get another call from them I will be calling our local county prosecutor. I called there number back and it answers ( This is mytravelpassport.net ) if you know your 4 pin account number please enter it. I just hung up the phone. I then went on line at the web site they gave me and it did come up. It ask for you pin number or member e-mail address. I put in our e-mail address and it came back saying invalid e-mail address. I put it in many times and it kept saying the same thing. So anyone that get's this phone number do not answer it. They are trouble all the way.

- Louise2 days of phone tag and wasted time, to happily discover this is a scam via this website. The same story was given plus caller says he's been in the business ten years! When asked to give me an example of hotel price at a location I named, he could not. So, he says he's putting "by law" my file in the "declined" folder and today's the last I'll hear from them. Oh, yes...$599 was the lifetime price quoted.

- S. AntoinetteReceived a call from 855-5292353 from Mr. Travis Nye, asking to upgrade me to a 4 week time program with My Travel Passport.net. I had not heard of My Travel passport. net. Called the phone number he left me, spoke with Jay, who told me they took over Cheap Trips which I once belonged to, and I would be grandfathered in for only $499.00. Sounds very enticing at first. Jay really did try to give me examples of Savings for various Hotels and Resorts. Of course, there is an annual fee of $199.00. Does anyone know if these people are legitimate and are they really part of Mytravel passport.net???

- WendyGot a call from an executive account manager at My Travel Passport. They are closing out all the accounts held over from Cheap Trips and I needed to decide today, right now, at a reduced price. Earlier I would have had to pay $499, reduced to $399, but today only it would be $299 for my lifetime membership of 4 weeks at a resort for free. Of course there was no resort shown that was for free and the 60% off a Wyndham hotel was never shown (the hotels were Ramadas and Travellodge) . . . It was Jay who called me first and promised to send me an email that never arrived but he was ill so this gal was following up, got belligerent when I said I needed to think about it. Stated they have been in business for 32 years !! and are reputable, etc. etc. Resolution so far. Account closed. I hope!
