They are calling with a lawsuit and saying they are from an investigation service. They are telling my mom she will be served in the next few days with us telling them they have the wrong person. The birthdates do not match up. It is some type of scam because they try to get you to confirm social security numbers.

I got a call from this number claiming his name is Alan Parker they are using skype to make these phone calls because sometimes the number shows up as a weird local number or does not show a number at all they are also linked to 855-532-9958. They claim they are mediation and they are coming to get you.

I got this call same thing but I'm a paralegal so I know they are BS. No one can arrest you for a debt so relax don't let the call stress you. First you need to find out what the debt is for. If it is for an internet payday loan then check with your state's attorney general's office or your states Department of Financial Institutions. If the lender who loaned you money is not registered with the state then the loan is void. A lender even a internet one has to be registered with that state when lending to their residents. They know this. That is why that try this strong arm tactic but they never file in court and if they do then you counter sue for fraud they has no permission from the state to lend to you. File a complaint with your states AG office but do not pay them one penny until you find out if the loan was legal. Illegal loans are not enforceable therefore they are not collectable not a penny, not principle not interest nada.

Send them a cease and desist letter. You can google cease and desist template and get one.

this number calling me again and she talk our HR manager, she harassing all the people in our company, our receptionist answer the phone she threatened already about my debt / billing something , they are freak to threatened people.

11/18/2015 - Get a call from Kristy today from 1-855-535-2149 x 309 and when I call back it does not give a business name, just says welcome to customer service, press 1 for admin, 2 for customer service or your extension. She was calling about a National Grid Bill. This is a scam, anything from this number is a scam. If she calls back I will try and get more info and post here again.

These people have been calling for weeks. They first started asking for an employee that is no longer here then got the owners names and started asking for them. I explained they are not here and they wanted a number for the person who handles the bills. So just a scam bouncing from person to person as long as they have a name.
