Received a call from this number stating that they are a legal action firm. It's a scam!

I just got a call from them as well...they knew the last 4 of my social and my bdate...the man was rude and pushy and threatening-who the heck are they??

They called twice and left voicemails stating that he is Mark Lewis from Legal Services Support and that they are trying to serve me legal documentation between the hours of 10 AM - 1PM on the next couple of days. Then he says for more information, call the creditor directly and he leaves 855-538-7488. I have fallen for a similar scam like this and they got $1000 from me. Luckily my bank reimbursed me. Don't fall for this stuff.

For me they said someone would be at my door between 10-1 with papers to sign.

They called my work and said I was getting served. Ken Wynn has a direct line 619-363-5098 Total Fraud.
They had all my info including SNN and old credit report.

You should have accepted their offer of serving you, and inquired concerning what time the meal would arrive.

Tiffany left a message indicating there was a complaint against my property and to call between 10:00 and 1:00.  They even left a case number.  Called back from a number not related to me and quickly found they didn't have any merit and were phishing for information and money.

Caller left a message from Tiffany indicating she was from Legal Support Service with a complaint regarding property.  She left a phone number and a file number.  When I returned the call it was answered "Corporate" this is Brian.  When I asked what company he was from he responded with Schmidt & Associates.  When I asked where the company was located he became very irate and said "Hey you called me."  I should be asking, "Who are you?"  Called me a scammer and hung up.  Called back, got Martin.  When I asked for Tiffany with Legal Support Services he indicated there was no Tiffany there. When I told him the previous person indicated the company was Schmidt & Associates and what happened to legal Support Services, I was disconnected.  When I called the third time, I got Martin, and I asked why he hung up on me.  He indicated I hung up on him.  Now, why would I do that!  He finally asked me what I wanted.  I told him I was responding to a voice message.  He asked for a file number which I gave him.  He indicated at first it was invalid, but then later said he couldn't help because the file belonged to a male and I clearly was not.  He didn't appreciate my comment that I have felt like a male my entire life, does that make a difference.  At any rate, he hung up on me.  Must be a scam!

Everything that everybody has that here is exactly what happened to me. I got a call from Mark the process server first trying to see if I was going to be home in between the hours of 10 and 1. I got scared and actually give them my bank information and worked out a payment plan. I didn't feel as if it was legit; something in my gut kept telling me it wasn't. I Googled the number for what was supposedly the people that had my case number over at Schmidt & Associates and this page came up.  I couldn't get in my car fast enough to drive to the bank and close my account.  Thankfully, they did not take any money from me or I would have been even more pissed. I'm going to be way more careful and not too trusting of people. I can't believe I almost gave Them my hard earned money.

My friend was out of work for a few weeks due to injury, and when she returned a manager handed her a piece of paper with (855) 538-7489 and a case #. They said that they were trying to serve papers, so I had called them myself.
They answered the phone as "Corporate Office" then transferred me to an obnoxious bully in the "Investigations" dept. that said she owed money and its community property and other crapp.
I said  "You don't have a case"
He said yes, spouted off some other rhetoric and hung up.

Fraud.

They are phishing for information and trying to get money from you. They said I had a "civil judgement" from a credit card back in 2005 "but made a payment in 2010" which it total BS. Statue of limitations here in CA is 4 years. (written contracts) 2 years for (verbal contracts).
I asked the lady her name and address and she got mad and irritated. I asked then for her personal phone number and social security number and she says "what?" Report these guys if possible and DO NOT fall for the scam they are trying to pull.

Did they ever contact you again? I got the same call today and am wondering how I need to handle it. I wonder if anyone has ever actually been served by them. TIA

Called from a private number first, then called from 619-209-8162 TWICE in a row. Referenced me by first name only.  Left a message Mark from Legal Support Services, had legal paperwork he would serve to me,  He then stated the address of my employer saying between 10-2 and to reschedule a serve location to call 855-379-2316.  This is the 2nd time in two months this has happened.

I received a call from Schmidt & Associates from #855-557-6487.  They called at my work and told the secretary that he was Derrick and he wanted to know about serving me papers - that a complaint had been filed against me.  I went home and called the phone number and asked to speak to Derrick and the person who answered the phone just began talking and asking if I knew that a complaint had been filed against me.  I asked him "What complaint" - he was referring to a previous creditor and an account from many years ago from a previous marriage. Then proceeds to tell me that I opened a line of credit.  I told him that I do not have any loans and do not owe anyone.  I asked him where is he located and he said in California. He said that I owe over $7000 and wanted to take a payment over the phone between $1000 and $300.00.  I told them that I needed to speak with my husband before I proceeded.  My husband who is a former collector -said this was not a valid call and they were using improper practices even if they were a debt collector.  I then found all of the information on this company online - so here is my experience.

This number called my employer today 1-855-557-6487 claiming to be NATIONWIDE LEGAL SUPPORT SERVICES -Schmitte Assoc. Left a file number and said they were trying to serve me! SCAM - why can't people get real jobs instead of trying to be crooks and steal and try to manipulate people.  I hope people aren't falling for this!  They also don't care who they call and talk to, they are trying to scare people by trying to embarrass them and get them to pAy !! SCAMMERS Are going to try to SCAM !! Do not fall for this !do not call them back either ! I was informed they can get information from your device when you call, so don't call them-this is not the way any collector collects debts.

Did they ever serve you, my employer just called me and said they called my work and told them they were serving me.
