855-550-8387 is a telemarketing company soliciting donations for AM-Vets.

Stop calling me!  Calls about twice a day.  I do not answer!

We get calls from this Number at least once a month, they say they are American Vet org. and will have a truck in our neighborhood on such and such a date.  Have never seen the truck and have no proof they're legit so I don't respond to Phone donations.

I am not going to answer a call I do not know who it is, so take me off your calling list. I will continue not answering.

These are scumbag "entrepreneurs" who pick up all your old crap and place it in their second hand stores.

Has absolutely nothing to do with vets!

We live next to Patrick Air Force Base.  I've personally met and seen the AMVET team there through our public school's robotics program which our son was a team member of.  At the monthly dinner at PAFB for parents and children who had the other parent deployed out of the country, AMVET had ticket draws of all types of gift certificates to local eateries, etc.  Numbers were called until EVERY FAMILY was a winner.

My suggestion is to contact the closest miloitary base of any branch and ask if they have a local AMVET rep and donate directly through them.  I'm not a bleeding heart, but this serves two purposes:  1)  Your donation is valid and stays local and 2)  it is beneficial on many levels to the parent or grandparents (sometimes both parents are deployed).

IDK if the people at this # are legit but there is an AMVET non-profit that does do good in serving military families.

Yes, this is a legitimate and valid number. I left some items on my front porch from their phone call and they picked them up.

Please stop calling my freaking number!!! They have called four days in a roll. I am sick of this! If I want to donate anything then I will call you!!

If you receive a yellow card in mail telling you Am Vet will be in your area at a certain day, it is legit.  Two weeks ago I left ALOT of good donations for them with yellow card attached, had to leave, got back, it was gone.  Funny thing, two days later call again for donations, I think someone hacked in site and posing only as Am vets.  It would certainly work.

We get calls frequently from this number;  they just hang up when you answer????

If it is AM Vet, why don't they update caller ID so it shows call coming from them.  Perhaps I'd answer.  Sure won't answer an unknown number.
