IRS tax SCAM! Just ignore the call.

They have called me several times

They want you to call them back so they can see your name on caller id. That way they can pretend like they already have your name. I tried it by giving them another name and they said are you sure it isn't (my name). Another time I told them I was FBI special agent (insert fake name). The person said oh my God and hung up.

Pretty hilarious. Special Agent Mike Stevenson from the IRS (who barely spoke English) called  and said I owed over $3000.00 in back taxes and if I didn't take care of the matter my local police would come arrest me within 30 min. I played along and told them I was afraid and didn't want to get arrested and asked what I needed to do to resolve the issue.  He said I was in violation of Homeland Security and was glad to help.  Didn't know Homeland Security and IRS were in cahoots with eachother. My husband tool over the call and when asked his name he said Special Agent Dick Tracy also with the IRS. The hung up and quickly disconnected service to this number because I get a weird message that they are not receiving calls feomy service area.  I filled out the scam documents from the IRS website.

Got a call from this number saying that I have to call them ASAP. Presented themselves as IRS; etc

Just received a call from this number Daniel Luis from IRS/Homeland Security (who barely spoke English) and said I owed over $4,725.00 in back taxes and if I didn't take care of the matter the police would be at my home in 30 min to arrest me. I also played along and was asked to hold on for one min so they can stop the warrant for my arrest. Then another guy got on the phone and asked if I wanted to settle the matter so I would not be arrested. I said yes, he put me on hold so he could stop the arrest warrant, after telling me of the tax years I owed money for he said it would take me about an hour and  a half on the phone to get all things taken care of. I said I don't have that kind of time, so he said he would just send the police to my home. I'm waiting for them now.....

Just keep calling stating that I owe the IRS.

IRS scam...left a message...  failed to pay duty to IRS and bill collection officer will be here to finish the paperwork.
