Getting calls from unknown number and he claims to be a process server and tells me to call 855-566-2378 to make payments so I do not have to go to court.  He threatened to come to my work if I did not call.  When I call the number they say I did not pay a payday loan...didn't have one...but would not tell me who the loan is to, who they are working for (attorneynetwork.com) or where they are located.  What the heck am I suppose to do with this?  How do I get infor mation on these people?

i got the same exact call yesterday at work and on my cell he actually left a mess that he wanted me to contact him so that he could serve me and i call i got a auto answer and did not idenify who they were i dont have a payday loan either

They called saying the had court papers and to call 855-566-2378 to pay and get a stop order.

He has been calling me for months and now just threatened me with court. I told him I don't have Any money to give. What does he want ?

Getting the same # and same message. I contacted the states attorney office and they said this is bogus. Advised to not answer or talk to them.

Received a phone call from a Daniel Perry indicating that he was a process server, and would be serving me at work or my home for "mediation services" that I was to call a 1-855-566-2378. Clearly this is a scam, because 3 other people have indicated the same issue, if Mr Perry calls back I will ensure he knows that he is the only idiot missing from a village some where not I. Sad these people prey on folks.

Look simply tell him that if he is coming to "serve" you that he should bring the right pizza and you want it hot not cold like the last time.  Also, tell him that the soda was flat and you would like it to be a bit more carbonated this time.  Then just hang up on the criminal.

Got the exact same phone call.  It's a scam!! F*ck these sorry [***].  Some tips to keep the ball in your court:  
1.  When they call, tell them they are being recorded, and that by continuing the conversation they are agreeing to being recorded.  Most likely they will hang up

2.  Tell them you've contacted the state police and the attorney generals consumer protection fraud unit and you've given the authorities the 855 #.

3.  Also asking for details will make them wary.  Debt collection is done through the mail, not via threatening phone calls.  

They called me...frightened me.....gave them info for a pymnt......im going to change my card # and rrport it to state atty general......

Have they started calling you again after you changed your info?  They will not stop calling me ..keep saying that they will send everything to the courts if I do not pay.

Do they still call you?  I have had a number of messages from an Andrew McCray saying I need to make a settlement or I will be in Court.  Will not give info on the attorney, claims attorney is too busy.  Asked for address and he gave 7954 Transit Rd in Williamsburg NY....can't pull that up either.  I have called the BBB and made a complaint with the attorney general.  I am now getting about 20 calls a day from numbers that make no sense and no one is there when I pick up......need help

Demand WRITTEN proof MAILED to you.  Do not accept "We did but it was returned".   They probably have nothing but threats & hope you will send them money.  The 855 area code also has quite a few scam debt collectors.

I did ask for written proof to be mailed to me.  He stated that they are busy with all the others who don't pay and can't do.  I told him if he has my phone number then I'm sure he has my address....plus the process server was going to serve me at home so he can mail it to me.  He stated that if he shows up I would be in Court.  I have my bank statements so i know I don't owe the money but he is calling my home, cell and now today at work.  Where the hell did he get this info at?

i received the same call.  threatended coming to my address or place of employment with court papers!  pay or get a stop order!!  Really!!!!   Cross that line if you want to, my employer does not allow that!  If you can't identify what the papers are for or mail them to whatever address you have, then shove it up your butt!!!  same number 855-566-2378

SCAM - definitely--
1. Too busy to send paperwork (could be mail fraud if they did)
2.  You are not warned if you are to be served with a summons.
3. Calling a third party is also illegal.  Why not print out this thread & inform your employer of the harassment!!

I received a call yesterday and today from a Sam Russo although he calls from a restricted number he said he was trying to contact me to set up a good time to serve me with papers. I spoke to Mr. Russo and told him I need his bar number for the filing party serving me and needed to know what this was about he said he could not open envelope and he didn't work for an attorney to give me that information and hung up. He called back a few minutes later and said he was however able to see on the back it was from mediation services 855-566-2378. He tried calling back today saying he has not received a stop and he needed to get with me to set a good time to see me today. Number one who sets times to serve people and would leave threating information like this on a recorder. Two why are you so hesitant to give me information on where you are calling from

They called me on Friday left a name as Dan Perry a process server for filing papers didn't leave a number for where he is from or who he works with but he called my work and different phone numbers. Call from a restricted number. Don't have any thing out there. Looks like a big scam and using all different types of names.

855-566-2378 is no longer used by whatever company the people here are talking about. It now belongs to a Bus/Transportation company that does not make outgoing calls.

That doesn't mean scammers aren't spoofing the number.
