I checked my checking account at lake michigan credit union. and it says that I dont own anything on my account.

Some called by the name of Tony saying he had mail for me for a legal matter. Would not say what company , gave me a claim number and a phone number.  I called the number its a company named Fargo Services that could not give me an address or an answer as to what they are. I believe it is a scam.

I received a call saying these people were coming to my work and needed two forms of identification and a signature for litigation papers . They did not say what the matter was concerning . I thought it was fishy so I googled the number and have read other comments saying it's a scam

I received a call and it was a lady stating she was a courier and had some documents I needed to sign. Couldn't tell me anything other than she couldn't get paid until she had my signature!!!!

Got a call from - 229-232-8912, and they left this 855 number as a call back. They called on my cell phone asking for someone named Barb who I've never heard of -- but coincidentally, is the same name used by M S & Associates (855-528-8454 and 716-328-0132).  google them to see BBB complaints and dozens of pages of 800 notes complaints and warnings.
Womans voice, obviously reading from a script, says she is Sarah Vonn a 'private courier' who will be in my town (which town: Seattle, Miami, San Diego, Poughkeepsie, Cowtrot? ), tomorrow, and will come by Barbs place of employment between 3 and 5,  to deliver some 'important documents', (what, Publishers Clearinghouse, Divorce docs, Magna Carta??).... and that if Barbara is not there, then she will ask for a supervisor who can tell when she will be there... then, she said that she will go to Barbara's home to deliver them, and that she will need to have 2 forms of identification (how about social sec card, driver's license and all credit cards?)....  and be able to sign for the documents. If she is not home, she will then go to family members homes and see if they can assist.  She then  says that if she fails to locate Barbara, she will mark her down as unresponsive, which could result in additional action.
( Oh My !  What other action ! will she call Barbs hairdresser too? ) She then gave out a "Document Number" and said that Barb should call 855-580-6252 to schedule her document delivery.
Obviously this is a scam and meant to frighten people and to get you to call them back since most people don't want some clown coming by the house or office to drop off some 'important documents'.....they called several times last fall and left the same message.... tried to call this number back -- 229-232-8912, and of course, it was not a working number (sure sign of a scam).  If this was a legitimate legal matter that required serving papers, etc, they would tell you so, rather than being vague and using veiled (and not so veiled) threats.  Would suggest putting this call on BLOCK.....
