This number was left on my vm by a fellow who said he was Greg Meyers (his call was blocked). Trying to serve me papers at work and home.  Give me one last attempt before he files an affidavit that I have refused to acknowledge the documentation.   What????  I tried to look up 855-580-6806 through reverse directory and Intelius.........no known number.  This is threatening - trying to intimidate people. I really feel sorry for people that might fall into this scam - especially the elderly who just might not know to do the research to figure out this is not valid.

They call themselves CMS client services.  Possibly this:  http://www.cms-collect.com/ (this business name might be spoofed)

They do use 855 numbers according to this site.

My uncle called me & said a lady from this number (855-580-6806) called his gf's phone w/ a message for me about serving me some kind of papers at work or home...which is illegal to disclose to a 3rd party. I knew it had to have been a scam b/c no one would know to try & contact me through my uncle's gf.

I got the same type of message.  Can someone please tell me if this is about taking me to court. I had a car repossessed years ago and this guy is trying to serve me with papers. Am I being taken to court?

I got the same call and its freaking me out.  Iy wad for my husband.  Is he being taken to court?

Jess, don't worry about this.  It's likely just a scammer trying to scare y'all.  If your husband is 'being taken to court,' there's nothing you can do to prevent it, and you should just wait to hear from law enforcement or the court.  Meantime, don't fret about strangers on a phone call - ignore them, and just continue your pursuit of happiness!  🎆

LMBO...... darn swype. Ok so I called this number and they told me that my file was sent to litigation. And my husband is going to be taken to court for the remainder balance of a car that was repod.

Yeah, darn swype does it again!

All you got to do, then, is wait for the court papers to be served to y'all.  Then, you'll have it all in writing!

(That won't happen though, you know, because it's a scam!)

I so hope you're right this guy called my job looking for my husband and said that if my husband does not sign the papers today he is filing an affidavit today.  But I guess like you said all I can do is wait to hear from the court.
