Who is this dude? - Heather| 1 replyI answer, it plays a recording that says they are working with Obama's student loan legislation and to please call them back to see if I qualify for lowering or forgiving my student loan payment (paraphrasing). They call a lot. I ignored their last attempt and a woman named Megan left a message.

Calls 5-10 times a day. Recode message when you answer, and same message if you send to voicemail. When you call back number is not in use. - annoyed| 3 repliesRecording - Woman named Megan is working with Obama to lower/forgive student loans.
Calls every few days and leaves the same message if I don't answer.
I'd actually like to rewrite my loans but any place that calls this much is clearly a scam.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Man Cheats Credit ScoreLeft a long rambling message about Obama and student loans on my answering machine. This must be one of those 15 hour a week jobs Obama created for college graduates in America.

- WillWe are a business with 5 different phones lines. We get one call per day on each of our 5 lines from this number. Same as all messages above, Obama's student loan debt relief plan, etc. When I called back a woman answered the phone "hello". Obviously not a legit business if they are answering the phone "hello". When I asked her to remove our numbers she said she would need all of our phone numbers to do that. I told her I would call her back and she hung up on me. She was very rude and gave one word answers the entire call. SCAM! Someone make this stop!
- Diana MarmoratoI keep getting called 3 to 4 times a day. I do not have student loans. Called Megan back to get the message the phone has bee disconnected. I am going to track this down and sue them for harassment if these calls don't stop..
- DirtDobberStudent loan forgiveness scam. I know it's a scam as I have NO student loans.

- Been there replies to annoyedGo to StudentLoans.gov to find options on rewriting your loans (consolidation, etc) it is free to do yourself and the company that calls you is trying to charge you for it. You will need your Fafsa PIN to get into the website though, so have that available if you know it, or type in FAFSA PIN in google to learn how to get it/reset it. You can get it rewritten based off your earned income also (which is what I did) and that will lower your payments also. Good luck!

- Fizban| 1 replyThe company that is calling is a scam trying to get you to pay them to do what you can do for free yourself. If you have a student loan go to studentloan.gov to learn what your loan options are. The options listed are what the company would have used, then they would have charged you to do it. Have your FAFSA PIN available, you Must have it to log into that website.
