- Caitlin| 3 repliesThis number called my mothers house harrassing her trying to pay whatever the total is that he is saying is "going against" my social security number. He was asking her where i worked and was trying to convince her to "be a good mom" and pay off my debt. he left his name as Tyler Jefferies at the execuative aquisitions. I cannot find that company anywhere online. He was also telling my mother that i am looking at prison time if i didnt pay the money within 24 hours. He is extremely rude- be forwarned. The number that the call came from was 1-855-587-4856

- Anon replies to Caitlin| 2 repliesI did not realize that this was another angle to the scam. I thought calling relatives, friends, bosses and business associates was just to put increased pressure on the "mark" to pay up. But if the scammers convince one of the associates that the claim is genuine, then that person might do the "mark" a "favor" by paying the bogus debt.
- Caitlin replies to Anon| 1 replyI was completely blown away. He was pressuring my mother to give him my address, where i work, my new phone number.. He was pretty much telling her that i could be going to prison and he would press charges to the full extent of the law if she didnt give him all my personal info or pay whatever "docket" was against my social. Luckily she didnt give them anything but i cant believe how rude they are and thinking that i wouldnt research the company before even considering paying them anything.
- shymoneyhe is very persistent in robbing you of your identity and very rude I ws never convenced that I would pay but he is someone to definitly to watch out for

- Caroline| 2 repliesCalled saying he had my info to my bank and more. If I didn't call them back they would go ahead and deliever what came across his desk to get processed. I have to call back ASAP to ensure that I won't suffer. Didn't leave a company name, and I've been told by family members that they have been called as well stating that I could go to jail if they don't help them get a hold of me to pay what needed to be paid. Been going on for a number of months now. I'm tired of this [***]. Yet I never got a damn thing in the mail.

- Amanda| 2 repliesI just received a voicemail today saying that they have tried to serve me at home with no luck, which someone is home all day and this has not happened and I am going to be served at work this Thursday if I didn't call them back regarding a sealed document. I can't find any information about this company and when I tried calling them back I get a "general mailbox". Sound fishy to me.

- Sarah| 2 repliesI keep getting calls from this number over and over again. The voicemail left is from a lady stating I have until 3p buisiness day today to call her back. Then I get a call from a male stating that he will serve me papers today at my work unless I call and tell them to "stop the process". I am debt free. I have had some issues with my SSN, and someone trying to use it to get loans. I did call back the number and got just a general voicemail which is fishy to me. I left a detailed message that i would like something mailed to my home address (obviously they have it if they are claiming to try and serve me there) with the name and website and phone number of their company along with information of the company i supposedly owe a debt to so I can contact them myself. I then get a phone call back stating "you need to call me back by 3p today". OK NO, I am not going to fall for this. If I do owe a true debt to someone I want written proof and to be able to call the initial company on my own. I am not blindly paying some company that doesn't even have actual voicemails or a website over the phone. I am fairly certain I have no outstanding debts, but you never know. And with all the issues I have been having with stuff popping up on my SSN it makes me nervous. I have a friend who is an attorney looking into this further for me, but so far they have been calling for 3 weeks and I have yet to be served! If they can't follow simple instructions to send me documentation by mail then I think it is all a scam.

- Sarah replies to Amanda| 1 replySame here! Any real company these days has some sort of website or information. This place has nothing, except on 800 notes! I am wondering if anyone has ever actually "been served!"
- Elspeth replies to SarahNo - it's an extortion scam. If they were legitimate and complied with federal debt collection law (the FDCPA), they would have no problem MAILING (do not accept email or fax) proof of debt/proof they have the legal right to collect said debt. Per the FDCPA, this mandatory documentation must be mailed to the alleged debtor within five days after the initial contact is made, and as such, any "company" who refuses to comply should not be paid.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

http://www.fraud.org/ - Elspeth replies to Sarah| 1 replyPlease read what I posted above - this is an extortion scam. They're calling about a bogus debt, debt that has already been paid, or even a debt that is owed - but to someone else. You mentioned having problems with someone attempting identity theft - you may want to make a police report about this (if you haven't already done so). Victims of ID theft cannot be legally held responsible for debt incurred in their name by the thief. Also look into getting identity theft protection, and alert at least one of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) so they can put fraud alerts on your files. Bottom line - you're wise to refuse to pay unless your caller complies with the FDCPA (i.e., mails written, verifiable proof that you owe them).
- stopcallingmereceived another call today from an unknown number. told me to call 855-587-4856 to stop a legal document from delivery to my house or employment by this thursday between 11am-5pm. if it were really legal, they would have done it already and not tell you when and what times. this is just a scary tactic of a business pushing and scaring you to pay a debt.

- DONTCALLMEI got a phone call from Executive Acquisition Group saying they have a sealed document to serve me. First, I ignored several days. Then my husband called saying don't contact my wife again. Next week, they called me always in the morning when I am rushing to work. Got so upset, I decided to speak with one of the representatives. They didn't even know my name asking what my name was. Good for you. You don't even know my name or address. Don't call me. Then he asked me are you Jane Doe? I was like, why am I supposed to answer you? Please just don't call me. Then he tried to explain about the legal document and advised me to get an attorney. Then I said to the person I am an attorney, just send me the document if you know where to serve. They may call me again but I am now thinking about reporting you to the authority.

- Rick Kim| 1 replyMy wife has been getting calls from 1-855-587-4856. They keep calling 5-10 times a day leaving messages that she will face jail time if she doesn't call back. We searched online and found numerous people who had the same experience. They claim she owes money and if the debt is not paid back immediately she will face jail. My wife does not have any debt and her credit score is impeccable.
This is obviously a scam and it seems to target older folks into turning over money.
I actually called back and spoke to whoever answered the phone. When I asked for his name, direct dial and mailing address after giving him a piece of my mind, he hung up on me.
You should really track this guy down and arrest him!- Caller: Executive Acquisition Group
