Call about your virus on your computer

I call BS on this Zeus virus crap.  I have plenty of protection on my computer and there isn't a single thing on it worth stealing info from it.  So I shut it off and moved on.   I would never call any number that is provided in a message that interrupted my activity online.  Stupid if you do.  Be sure you have up to date virus protection and quit worrying about it.

I need to find out how to stop this popup from interrupting my online games

SCAM   not from Microsoft    Actually got a message that I needed to call them on my computer SAID it was from microsoft.

Keep getting message to call them and they claim to be microsoft.    SCAM

Very convincing.  Do not call they have an answer for everything.  They took over my computer and started downloading my files.  I turned off computer.  They called me back 2 x. and I hung up.   Ran virus scan.   Gut instinct made me uneasy.  SCAM.  IGNORE.

got this last night.  Called out of curiosity (despite having virus protection), and the number didn't even go through.  Then opened  up another browser (I was on GC, and I opened Firefox), looked up the number, and found out it was BS.  Hit control alt delete, and everything was fine.

Run Zeus virus scan. They try to take $ 249 from you at the beginning. Taking over your computer. Turn off the power right away!!

Pop-up locked up my Google Chrome browser. It said "Zeus virus detected" and to call 855-624-0094. I didn't. I restarted my PC and ran Windows Defender virus checker and nothing. It's a SCAM. Don't call the number. If you can't get out of it call Microsoft Support on their official number.

Just received a 'pop-up' with instructions to call  1-800-624-0094. Don't call....it is not legitimate

I experienced exactly the same thing.  I did call the number but knew immediately that it wasn't Microsoft.  I hung up and ran the same Windows Defender virus checker and found nothing.  It is absolutely a scam.  Don't answer if they call and don't call the number if they try to hijack your computer with a popup.
