- C RojasI got a call from this Katy Gates at my office. She tole my secretary her company was IPS but when she left the message she said TSK Sports Promotions. No idea how they got my work number and name. She happened to leave me the message on my birthday when I was actually expecting a package so I thought it was legit. When I called the number she left it didn't go through. That's when I knew something wasn't right. How can I report these spammers so they stop calling?????
- WINDY CITYKathy Gates called my office also about overnight package. I didn't order anything. Don't know how they got my phone #

- AnnoyedWOW! I have a OVERNIGHT PACKAGE, I'm so excited I wonder what it could be? All I have to do is call her so she can realease my package. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE KIDDING... Now her name is Pam, but she is still calling from PSK Sports Promotion Department, The real name of this compnay is IPC which is Innovative Prospects Company, LLC, which when you look them up under the BBB, they are Interpoly Corporation
in Fort Lauderdale, FL. they deal with contstruction and safety realted supplies. A few years ago my assistant took a simular call after being promised authentic baseball jerseys of his favorite team. This shirts did come, and they were of decent quality, but they were packed within a case of safety glasses which he had to order to get the shirts and the glasses were extremely over priced. they were about 3 times the cost of simular glasses. We refused the package and that was the end of it. Until today's call. BEWARE nothing is ever free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (especially from PSK or IPC or what ever the name du jour is today)- Caller: PSK Sports Promotion

- Not A FoolKatie Gates just called from PSK Sports Promotions (yea right) about my overnight package. This isn't my first time to this rodeo. THIS IS A SCAM like the numerous others I have taken over the years. If you give them the OK to ship it, your AP person will get an invoice for the product they are attempting to get you to buy at a very high price. You will never be able to contact anyone to return the stuff they sent and you will be stuck with the bill. If you sign for it, you will be screwed. Be smart, don't fall for it. You will be sorry if you do.

- Randy - Mobile, ALI received a call this morning from either a Kitty or Katy Gates from PSK Sports Promotions. She said I had a priority shipment that needed to be released but she needed to talk to me first. I knew better than to call back and simply looked up the number online and it led to this site of complaints. I would hate for my job to be calling people with bogus information. Don't call back if they leave a message.

- Jim in GerogiaKaty sure is busy. Had a message on my voice mail to call her. Not the first time i've had a call like this.
Sometimes I have answered the phone and talked to them for a while eating up there time.(they have to make a lot of calls to find a sucker) so I keep them on the phone as long as I can without agreeing to accept anything or order anything. when you finally tell them you don't want their free stuff they get pissed off and hang up on you. it cuts down on the frequency of return calls.- Caller: PSK sports promo

- Gerry in MA| 1 replyJust listened to a VM from the great Katie herself. Usually companies like this don't leave voicemails since they prefer to cajole you in person. There are a number of establishments like this and their calls start off way too friendly before they ask what size you'd like your shirt to be. When I tell them we do not accept free gifts they hang up immediately. Works for me.
Years ago it was "Larry the lightbulb guy". Before the electronic age, it wasn't unusual for a large business to pay a fraudulent invoice that referenced a person's name rather than a legitimate purchase order number.
As long as one out of a hundred people fall for this, these scammers will remain in business.
Glad you folks all recognized this too.- Call type: Telemarketer
- managerit's almost humorous to read all these posts.
PSK surely must be a legitimate company to be receiving such a list of rave reviews.
again, I post because they continue to call, over and over,, same message, same number,,sometimes twice a week.
it's good to see the posts where persons actually DID make contact with these scammers, got scammed,, yet hopefully got their issue resolved and/or rectified.
I feel sure there are some forms of laws being broken by this scam, but the main law broken is that they steal your time, or someone within your organization's time,, in trying to make the wrong-doing right.
carry on people; and to hell with PSK or whomever they claim to be today.- Caller: sportspromotions

- manager replies to Gerry in MAwe had a dose of "Larry the lightbulb guy" a couple years back.
he contacted one of our electricians, and promised a free cordless drill with a purchase of a"carton" of bulbs.
we got the bulbs all-right, and the drill,, then several days later, an invoice which placed the bulbs (8" fluorescents) at something like $12 each. (for a $2 each bulb).
it took a while, but the boss finally arbitrated the price (Larry wouldn't accept return of the bulbs) and the message was sent thru the company to "never buy over the phone without proper scrutiny of the seller, especially on calls where you are being solicited".
one other thing folks : never say the word "yes" over the phone to a telemarketer. - DirectorThe number now is 855 209 1411 I have not ordered anything.
