I returned the call to this number and left a voicemail..it was a very vague voicemail and says he's from a locating unit in California. .Please help me with details..Thank u

I just got a call from this number. The guy said his company had been monitoring my network and found a hacker trying to get in.. I told him to go [***] himself and hung up.

I received an e-mail attached to some old e-mails I had exchanged with a computer tech company.  The e-mail  used a person's name (with whom I had previously worked online) from the old e-mails.  This was the number she asked me to call rather than her old number which I had kept.  I expect that these e-mails were hacked and these scammers are using her name and this bogus number to get my name and computer information.

Said it was a safety message from google chrome

This number is on pcvirus.biz . This is a web page that pops up and will not close. The page states you have a virus and to call this number immediately. These pricks are scamming people!!! Do not fall for it!

Called the number and asked if it was a scam and they hung up on me. Called back next day to ask some questions about what they do, they said they fix anything for a charge. I told them I called yesterday and they hung up on me again.

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

How do you get rid of the pop-ups that tell you there's a virus in your computer and to call this number?

I got call from this number today saying they was a police station in Connecticut and my number was involved in a crime

This rascal fooled me into giving him 200.00 to fix my iPad... I’m to dang trustworthy... trust the wrong ones all the time... anybody know who this number belongs to... I want to catch this rascal

"he crossed the wrong one..." Okay, good to know. Of course, since he more than likely spoofed this phone number, finding out who he is well be quite difficult.
