Got call for lady whose name I do not recognize.  Said he was Paul Staten with Keith Spencer attorney.  Said it was about a returned check or something.  I have had this number 7 years.  Have a feeling it is a scam.  Caller I'd just had phone number with no name.

I just got a call from this # too.  They are asking for someone that i absolutely do not know.  This has been ongoing for a year.  Anytime i try to have a rational conversation they scream at me and call me names.  They are insane.  I'm contacting my attorney because this has now turned into harrassment.

been getting calls from 855-652-1922 -- recorded message says this is the law office of keith spencer -- calling about a returned item (ie: bounced check) says I can press one for a human.  Got a human twice, refused to say who I was "told them you called me" both time they yelled at me.  I know this is a scam because first off I've never bounced a check in my life.  Second, before I was getting these calls they were calling for one of my former employees saying she had a felony charge for something.  Really?  So bizarre.  Reported to the FTC but I just don't see anything happening with it yet.

They gave me all imformation to this threating me of 1-5 yrs in prision if I didn't pay up the $1,113.00 to them with in a half n hour, then proceeded to be rude n nasty cursing at us on the phone, even more so when we were trying to figure ev'thing out, seeing this was a scam. We called the people to the company that the money was to be owed too n she said they have no action in this matter n her co-worker had the same call from this same guy. Guy says his name is Earl n he's to be an attorny for collection company, but wouldn't give the name too us except it is for Advanced America title Loan ??? Person there we talked too tonight was Rachele. The # that was called too is 262 287-5349

A man named Lavinsky called and said I owed $500 plus fees totaling $1,288.  I was threatened that the police will be looking for me. Not the real IMG (Integrity Management Group)

I keep getting the same # 855 (which when googled is listed as toll free)  652 1922.
I refuse to even answer as it looks suspicious anyway plus it's my cell phone and wont waste the minutes.
The only thing is it seems that when you join certain websites they sell your info to
these #@*&%@#$ !
I just wish my phone had an option to block those calls.
Or someone can put them out of business.

I got a call saying i had a returned checked from a closed account and i was being sued for 1075 instantly I started crying due to it being Christmas time. The man named jay Spencer a prosecuting attorney said if i didn't pay them n 30min i would have a felony warrant out for my arrest and my bond would be 5000 cash only. I called my father and her looked up the named and to come to find out they were scammers. I received a similar call from a company called RR recovery and i did pay the 700 dollars and i looked up that number and that also was a scam i would like to know if there's anything I could do to get my money or have them prostituted for basically stealing my money.

I just got a call from this number looking for my sister. He said that she would have two "felony warrants" issued for her arrest by the State of Texas if she didn't get in touch with him "by 4:00 today." Said he was an attorney by the name of Joseph Levinsky. I called my sister immediately who informed me that this was a scam. At first he was asking for my sister's friend by first and last name and when I told him that it wasn't me, he acted like he didn't believe me. I told him that I knew a person by that name, but that it wasn't me. He then asked for my sister, by name, and when I told him that was my sister, he again acted like he didn't believe me. Very strange call! The called said that it was for two "returned checks..." My sister has not had a bank account in over five years and didn't have bounced checks when she did have the account!

I too received a call from a Keith Spencer, saying I had a bad check from 2008. He told me that I was about to have a felony warrant issued for me by 3 pm if I didn't pay $897.45 immediately. I spoke to my attorney (whom I have for a divorce I'm going through) He told me that bad checks are considered a felony in all 50 states and that companies who issue out pay day loans do have a legal right to sue if they've 1. Bought the Debt from the original creditor or 2. Work for the original creditor but have attorneys working at the company for class action suits. I ended up paying the guy with my credit card because my attorney advised me it was the best option for the divorce, and to make sure no legal complications arise through either the state or civil courts. I think people need to realize that there is a legal consequence for bouncing a check. Most checks that are prosecuted end up that way as a result from years of failure by collection agencies to collect on checks like these. I don't believe this was a scam being that I do remember writing a check to the company and I checked my bank statements (since I had all that info on hand for the divorce anyway). These people were rude but my attorney stated a lot of guys who practice law or work at firms are. He can be somewhat of a [***] himself. I suggest just resolving the issue unless you've filed bankruptcy. I don't want to go to jail and I don't want my kids to go to my cokehead of a wife.

Received a call from a man at this number today looking for my sister. He was horribly rude!! Shouted at me and said that my sister was "just going to go down to the Iraq Slammer with all the other criminals this Christmas!" I don't really know what he meant, but I assume that means that he thinks that she is going to jail over some returned item or something.... He was obviously a bill collector and when I told him that last week another person claiming to be an attorney called from that same number, he said that he was an attorney as well. I looked him up on the State Bar Association of Texas  website and he is an attorney; however, he is not eligible to practice law in the State of Texas because he has been disbarred! I guess he is just lucky that he got this job at the colection agency!!! He said that his name was Frank Davis and his Bar Card Number was 05487100... Look it up! I have asked that they PLEASE not call my number any more... They continue to! In fact, while I was typing this note, they just called back AGAIN!

I get calls daily from this number as well. When you call it back it says all circuts are busy. 855-212-3730.  I never answer, but they leave a message for my sister in law. She must have used us as a refrence or something.... anyway, they call daily , many times a day. They message says its- Paul Stanton calling from the law firm of Keith Spencer, and lists a claim number to refrence if I want to stay on the line. the number they leave to call back is- 855-652-1922. They also say its about her account.
 When I look up the Keith Spencer law firm they are in TX, my sister in law lives in FL.
I wish I could block them from calling!
