Received a call from this number.  It was an automated message saying it was a debt collector and to call this number back for more info.  I have no debt.

Got the same call from ELS CCA, same number, same situation.

EOSCCA - A Debt Collector, leaving messages for me to call regarding a personal matter. Yeah whatever. This number is now blocked just like every other number they call me from.
I have serious outstanding medical bills/debt for botched surgeries and disputed insurance claims/coverage.
I'm terminal, so if they can get it out of me once I'm in the ground, more power to 'em.
In the mean time, they can blow me.

Now in order to get them to stop calling you, you must send them by certified, return receipt US mail a cease and desist letter.  You can get a sample letter, read up on your rights and also file a complaint here:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General’s office.
This should be all the information you need to get them to stop calling.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
