The individual called my cell phone leaving a detailed message about legal action towards another  person with the same last name.   This constant calling from this telephone number must stop..  This is a collection company and should be warned about leaving messages pertaining to another individual on the wrong person's cell phone.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Some dumbass named paul frank called my moms house trying to sound like a lawyer studdering says he has papers for my sister to go to court told my mom if he has to come there not to have no dogs or guns im confused and my moms scared half to death. What should I do? Does anyone know

These Guys Have Made The Same Threats Against Me Many Times, Don't Fear, They Are Scam Artists. Do NotGiveThem Any Of Your Personal Info. They Will Threaten But Won't Show Up At Your House. A Legitimate Business Would Never Make Calls Like This.

Some guy named Mark Logan called to say I was on his schedule to deliver papers to my house & to be available Monday between 11-5 lol what? No clue what this is in regards to & he wouldn't say. Smells like a scam to me.

I had a call from a number that said RESTRICTED. I didn't answer it, but a guy who called himself Mark Logan left a creepy message in this weird half robot/half human voice. The message was addressed to somebody named Melissa (which is not my same), saying that she is on his schedule to serve her papers between the hours of 11-5, for some kind of complaint being filed against her. He said if I have any questions to call Legal Services at the 855 # that I'm reporting on, and also gave me a claim number to reference when I call.  Over the past few years since I got my phone,  I have had a handful of calls looking for a Melissa, all  from debt collectors. Back before I knew better than to not answer phone numbers I don't know, I actually talked to a couple of people, and they asked me no more questions after I told them they had the wrong number. I guess I just feel confused as to whether this is legitimate or not. The seriousness of the message this Mark guy left me this time had me debating whether or not I should call the number and tell him that he has the wrong number. Glad I decided to look it up first. I will not be calling back.

Looks like this caller is in full force right now. I received my calls after I used Turbo Tax online, which makes me feel like maybe they got my information from there?
Caller name was Mark Logan. He lef two voice mails stating that he was going to deliver a "certificate of intend" to my home, and to make sure I was at home on Monday, 2/03/14. In his second voice mail, he read off my actual home address, which is creepy. I don't believe him, just makes me sad that there could be people out there actually in fear over these tactics. He gave a # of 855-692-7414, but the caller ID on my cell phone reads, Unknown. He did call my ex-husband, whom I have not been married for years. That sucked, but oh well. Hope he gives up, since I am not going to give him the time of day.

I wanted to follow up and let you know that as of Wednesday 2/05/14, I have not heard back from this person, nor did he stop by my work or home as he suggested he would. I am not saying he will not try again, but at least I know now that they were empty threats, which is thankful, since it was illegal what this person was doing. How sad.

Company constantly calls from 855-692-7414 saying they are from The Gold Group about a loan that my husband supposedly took out from Sagemore in 2009, which I have never seen on his credit report and know nothing about. They constantly call my mother-in-law and when I told them to stop, they said that is a local agency calling her that has nothing to do with them, yet this supposed local agency gives her the same number 855-692-7414. I asked for account number and address of this Sagemore and they said they cannot provide it, that we either have to wait for this collection to go to court, or I can set up a payment arrangement with the Gold Group, without having any paperwork sent to us. They won't send us paperwork because since they've been trying since 2009, sending to my husband's old addresses, they can't send anymore paperwork. None of this makes any sense to me at all. They said the original loan was for $160, now it is up to $589.60, and if it goes to court it will end up being $1784.00. The person who I spoke with was Allen David, then he transferred me to a woman.

Some guy name Lee Hoffman saying the same thing. He called from an unknown number & left message on the voicemail. I'm so sick & tired of these scammers, something needs to be done about them.

Same thing .. lee hoffman calling my mother and saying he will be at my home or office with documents and said to have 2 i.ds ready ..lol ! for outstanding crap from 2009 and wanting a payout laughable but pathetic.. I would like to know where ha is located and serve him some justice !
