Continuous calling and no voice communication.

It's a call from the NRA

The phone number for the national rifle ass.

The phone number is the National Rifle Association.  I called back and pressed '1' for more info (only option given) after about a 1-minute blurb you are given the option to take your name off their list by pressing option 3.

Caller ID says 'unknown name'.

I called this number back (hiding my caller ID info, of course) and I heard "You have reached teh NRA - National Rifle Association"...

[***] keep calling me late mornings and waking me up, and I work nights. EAT ME.

It is the NRA...they no longer give you the opportunity to remove your number. The message is less than a minute and they tell you they will call you again in the next few days.

Yeah, it's the NRA but they give you a number to call to be put on their do not call list. It is:
(866) 672-4000 and they were very apologetic about calling me EveryDAY...........

It is NOT the National Rifle Assn. calling you.  Unfortunately, there are many different N-R-A's in the US, but this particular one is a collection agency.  (I forget exactly what it stands for.)  But believe me!!  I know, because when I divorced my wife, just to get back at me, she left me babysitting $25,000 of her credit card debt.  She has left unpaid bills wherever she's been, always giving my address and phone number as her own.  Since then, I have been bugged by these [***] (and many others) for seven loooong years as they try to find her.  So don't blame the NRA we all know so well, but they can go to Hell, too!!!

No message, just rings four times then hangs up. Very irritating when you have call waiting.

Thank you, Patricia! I called the number you gave and spoke to a very nice woman who apologized for any inconvenience and said my number would be removed immediately! Wouldn't it be nice if we had the same results from the other unwanted callers we get?!?

IRA PESTS! Calls, then does not leave a message. These ignorant IRA pests keep calling my home. DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, WHERE ARE YOU!!! I WANT THIS STOPPED!!!

We get these calls and we don't owe any money. I believe this is someone paid to find working numbers to sell them.

It would be nice if they followed the law and used the Do Not Call Federal list and not call us that are on that list.
