Keep getting this call. no one is on the line just a lot of background noise. Does anyone know who this is????

I'm getting the same thing, Sue. Nothing there when I pick up, but this number has been calling me daily for weeks.

Someone from 855-731-5361 just called our office and said the were a collection agency from AT & T and we owed a $465 bill. We don't even have AT & T and when I asked her to confirm the place of employment and an account she couldn't. She told me I had to pay the bill, I hung up and reported to FTC.org

The man introduced himself as Adam Johnson from AT&T and said we had an outstanding bill. He had a heavy Indian accent and was clearly calling from a noisy call center. The company I work for doesn't have any services from AT&T. The scary thing is that he knew the name of the business and asked for our accounting person by name. I passed him on to her just in case it was real (with a warning that I was pretty sure it was a scammer). She took the call but hung up on him after listening to what he had to say and confirmed my suspicions. I have no idea how he got the information he had about us. Beware!

They called again (almost exactly at the same time as yesterday)! This time the guy said his name was Ebenezer (really??), again from AT&T regarding unpaid bills. Conveniently, after getting hung up on yesterday by the person he asked for by name, he instead asked for the accounts payable department or owner. I told him I would transfer him, put him on hold for a while, and hung up. Hopefully they will get the hint that we're not falling for it.

False AT&T collection agency claiming we owe roughly $63.  I spoke with AT&T about our business line account (which is current and on electronic payment), and they found nothing amiss with our account.  Beware, and tell them they do not have permission to call you on a recorded line.

I too got a call from someone with a very heavy accent.  I could here other people in the same room chatting much like a boiler room.  He said he was a collection agency representing AT & T.  I got a reference number, return phone number and his name.  From what I see here this is a bogus scam.

AT & T, can you do anything about  this?

Static noise no one ever answers

Same as above calling from At&T that owed a late bill.  We don't have AT & T.

Been getting a call from this number for weeks. I never bother answering since they never leave a message. They seem to call me twice a day nearly 6hrs apart. Thanks to all of you who have been commenting on this number. I don't have nor have I ever had a t & t so now I know better than to ever consider picking up the phone.

Received 6 calls from this number no messages ever left but they call one to two times a day.

8557315361 is NOT ATT they just introduce themselves like that. They are: Credence Resource Management a collection agency google it!

They keep using a variation of local phone numbers, this time 707-703-1462, and are definitely Indian voices, heavy background noise, using American names. This time we decided to put her on a speaker phone and have a little fun! I asked her if she was busy or when is the best time to talk with her. Can you give me your home telephone number? She said her home telephone number was 855-731-5361. You can tell they do not understand the English language or American culture when I asked her if I could call her  number and always have a good time, maybe we could meet Nora Roberts for a "good time". .  I then asked if the  good time and includes her going all the way to 3rd base on the first date. She stated she doesn't understand baseball. She then became confused, I told her I get off in about 30minutes and will call her for a date. She hung up

Got a call this morning, with female & strong Indian accent ask for account Payable, we owned AT&T bills.  Ask for call back number: 855-731-5361 ID# 237568738

We keep receiving calls from "FAKE AT&T" actually CREDENCE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT which is a debt collector trying to collect an overdue balance from previous services provided through AT&T, however they do not have any contact name, and wrong service address.  Call back #(855) 731-5361, SCAM ALERT, BEWARE!!!

Received a call at our business that at the beginning was silence. All of a sudden heard a lot of noise with a bunch of people talking in the background and a gentleman with a heavy Indian accent introduced himself as Zachary with ATT. He asked for the person in charge of our ATT account to which I told him there shouldn't be one because we cancelled it about a year ago. Zachary paused and then said "yes I see that here, but it appears you have past due charges on your account". Told him we shouldn't because we already took care of that with the real ATT. Took down the phone number (855-731-5361) and asked if whoever called back needed to ask for him which he seemed surprised and then said no.

They also use the # 317-854-8247. He couldn't get me to reply "yes" to anything so he finally hung up.
