Yet another "we can lower your credit card payments" call from someone... scam

Repeated calls from this Phone # today.
Now they are blocked

Why do these calls continue even when my phone # is on the do not call list?  There is no option to opt out.  It was "Rachelle" and now it is Vince (or Victor - don't remember which)

Caller called with my name and address and said they were coming to my home

I get different numbers all the time from this same recording. It doesn't matter if you block one number they will call from a different number. I am on the do not call list and still get the calls. The next thing I will do if they keep on is contact the proper authority for this is unacceptable.

They called saying they were gonna lower my credit card bill but heres the thing i dont have not even one credit card scammers for sure

Picked up on third ring; no one there. Auto-dialer must be programmed to hang up after 3rd ring. Same # that called twice last week to reduce my credit cards - and I don't even use credit cards!  So, finally blocking these idiots after telling their rep(s) twice to cease all future calls... And of course they never give up trying again and again and again...

On Do Not Call list. I get these calls all the time and continue to block them. Called my congressman about this issue. He was no #%!$^%#$%$# help.

Received call today to "lower my interest". There was no option to opt out. Pressed 1 to connect to agent. I told agent to remove this number and he hung up on me. The guy was Indian and probably was located in a Bangladesh boiler room. Too bad, because most Indians are nice but all it takes is one or two bad ones in order for them to be labeled as a stereotype.

Scammers don't respect the DNC. In addition a robodialer dials 9999 numbers of an exchange disregarding the DNC altogether. Suggest ignoring and blocking any strange calls. Reporting them might help as well.

All you do by pressing 1 is confirm that they have a working number.

Called my DNC registered landline. I don't answer 800 Service calls. No voicemail. Another garbage call.

Continue getting these calls at all hours of the day.  The person on the other end of the call always sounds like the same person who really wants to lower our cc interest rates. We also are on the DNC list, which is useless because they just call from another number and continue to bother us. No point notifying any "authority" because they only tell you to ignore if you can and don't give them any valid information for anything. We tried giving them fake cc#s and they said that it wasn't a valid number and that we were lying to them. We said a few choice words and then hung up. Now we just get to wait till the next time they decide to bother us.

Same people, same message about lowering my interest rates but different number every time.  The guy couldn't even tell me what my CCs were.........wanted me to give the information to them.  I told him he needed to tell me what my cards were if he was going to lower my interest.  He hung up on me!  LOL  DO NOT fall for this scam!!!!!

Got this call. Did not answer. Caller ID said Cambodia! Blocked number, this was on my cell.

Two calls within a half hour. On one where caller ID says Not Available with this number and the next came in as 800 Service. Blocked.

I called the AG office and they said they can not do anything about these types of calls.  I was told they are ROBO calls and aren't even coming from a phone, they are coming from a computer and are non-traceable.  I was told the best thing you can do it to NOT answer the call and eventually the computer will think it is a non-working number and stop calling.  Answering only puts your number back into the dialer to be called again.
