I got the same call and it's from a company probably posing as FDR (Financail Debt Recovery). I had an old GMAC account go into collections and it was with this company. Last week I paid the whole balance off and when they called me an actual person called, this company just has a recorded company. So I know its a scam cause I paid the balance off and haven't heard back from the company and I did it while she was on the phone. I am assuming its a company posing as a collection company to scam money. I have heard of 1-888, 1-866, 1-800 but never heard of 1-855 area code

Just got a call recorded message from these guys too.   855 is the new toll free exchange I just got this new number so I know they are not calling for me, but someone who used to own it,  I have no debt problems so I am not calling back.

The number was issued by allstream in Canada to a customer in 2011.

Yah this is a scam lookup the same number but wit 6018 instead ov 6022 there's a whole thread within 800Notes forums. They're just cycling through numbers to avoid detection. 1-855-771-6017 / 1-855-771-6018 and so on.. Today they're clearly all the way up to 1-855-771-6022 prob cuz all the other numbers have been reported. U can search any ov their other numbers n see exactly how extreme this FDR Ltd harassment company has reached.. It's total bs don't call them back!

I just reported them to the CRTC. I've never had any dealings with any such type of company so it's pulerly just a scam. Hope they get busted and fined!

i have gotten about 3 calls per day from 855.771.6022 - I've called and left messages after hours to request they do not call back but they keep calling.  The recording of the message does not have my name mentioned or what debt they are talking about.  I have no debt so I'm not calling back either.
is there anything else we can do to make this stop- they call quite late and I have young children in the home.  It's extremely annoying

They started calling a couple of weeks ago. I called them back and asked who they were looking for and they said Some dude named victor hernandez or something.Not to sound racist but I live in Newfoundland Canada and I have never met a mexican\spainsh person in all my 30 years here. So I told them to take my number off their list and they did stop calling for about 2 weeks now they have started calling again but blocking their number. I hope they get caught......[***].

Just received a call from an "anonymous" caller, left a message saying to call the number above by tomorrow morning etc.  This is B/S as we do not have any outstanding payments.  I don't understand how these people get these numbers and get away with what they are doing when people are making complaints!

As reported above with same info.  It's been escalating to the point today a real person left a message. I've also reported it to the CRTC. Annoying that there is nothing the Telus can help with especially because I have no debt.

I got a letter send to my brothers. Wells Fargo Auto.  I do owe them, but in know position to pay. I am on a Canada Pension Disability Pension I just ignore there letters.

Got a call from them. No, sorry .. Got daylly calls from them. On my callers ID it says ANYNIMOUS. I've never had anyone calling here and my callers id said that (ussualy says Private). very weird. I'm not calling back. They leave messages saying I have to call back bu 9h55 the next morning. I don't have debt. I'm just about to call the police station see if I can do anything about it.

these [***] keep phoning me to collect from a man named larry i have told them i am not larry stop phoning my cell they keep phoning. today i phone again and told them to f off in no uncertain terms when they tried to continue debating with me wether or not i am female or male . they are rude and obnoxious and to set the record straight as soon as i find an address for them i will charge them with harrassment.

They have been harassing my brother about a bill for me. I called them back and say I have an outstanding balance from my gas company. When I asked about when it was from, he told me 2008, which makes no sense because I didn't live there or have an account in 2008. So I told him I would call the company and ask them and he gave me the number and his extension so I can arrange my payments. I called the gas company twice and was reassured that there is no outstanding balance, and that I have perfect credit history with them. When I do self serve on the phone with the gas company, because it's an old bill it goes to the Financial Debt Recovery and they give their phone number which happens to be a completely different number: 1-800-763-3328. The 855-771-6022 is a complete scam! But it is very creepy because they know my first and middle name and part of my account number, not the whole thing.

These [***] keep robodialing me and I also  have no debt ,I almost called back to tell f. off but it must be part of a  huge robodialer scam to make money when you phone back, to collect rube names.?

Just got one of these phone calls. It was a recording, and gave me a reference number and told me to call before 9:50am tomorrow morning "to avoid any further problems". They identify themselves as FDR Limited in the recording.

Stop the harassing calls

I can't stand it anymore!  They call every frickin' day and I can't think of a way to stop it. I have no debt.

Same annoying calls. Very authoritative Like the Champ from the radio station.  
I got a huge laugh out of it when they called.  

This is what he said:

"This is an Important message from FDR. Our staff have made numerous attempts to contact you regarding an unresolved business matter without success. You are required to contact my office to avoid any further escalation.  We are still prepared to help you, but you must contact my office today at 1-855-771-6022 that number again is 1-855-771-6022."

I am required to contact them???  My a$$.  I will wait for a subpoena before I call them, they will end up paying for it anyway.

Several attempts my a$$.  This was the first call they left this message.  What a bunch of morons!!  They can come to my house if it is that important.

I love this line.  "We are still prepared to help you".  I haven't ever incurred debt of any kind and I wish a real person would call so I could play with them a bit!
