Yes, clearly a scam. calling in the name of my health insurer. provided the toll-free number. When I returned the call they wanted confirmation this was the name associated with the phone number they had (mine), then wanted my date of birth. That's when I hung up. All automated.

They leave a voicemail from an Andover, MA based number. Apparently MVP Health Care outsources marketing/surveys to this company. It's legitimate, but there's no need to call them back. They make it seem like they're calling about something important - They're Not.

i received this call as well. when they asked to enter my date of birth, i hung up. i do not think it is from my health care provider as they would contact from a local office.

Stating they are from MVP leaving automated message that I need to call them back to receive some important information. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST! SCAM,

I am an MVP customer and got a similar call. The call came from the number 978-775-6240. They left a voicemail saying that they were calling on behalf of MVP, and that they needed information only I could provide. They then went on to say to call them back at 1-855-800-9958.

So I went onto the MVP website and opened up a chat session. I explained what happened and they responded back saying, and I quote:

"Our vendor partner Eliza, Inc. will place automated phone calls to members who join MVP via a Health Insurance Marketplace to complete a health assessment. This fulfills MVP's contractual requirement with the state. The purpose is to educate members on the importance of health screenings. Name and Phone number that will display in Caller ID Adult: MVP Health Care (978) 775-6240 Eliza Call back number/Call back hours Adult: 1-855-800-9958 Members can call Eliza back at these numbers 24/7"

I then asked if it was mandatory to complete the health assessment. They said it was not.
