Called five times today.  Did not leave a message.

Called five times. The first four I did not answer. The fifth time I answered and was disconnected.

Received a call this morning. I did not answer and no message left. Blocked.

Man with the foreign accent on the recording claiming he was with the IRS .I checked with the IRS and they did not call!

We were called four times by this number once a day for four days. They say they are with Citibank and are renewing the Costco Visa cards since they have switched from American Express.   They wanted my credit card number and Social Security card number. I told them to take me off their list because I know they're trying to scam me.

Have received over 30 calls in the past few days. I don't answer.

Called twice so far. One time I picked up accidentally. The lady stated she was looking for me, but didn't even introduce herself or the company she was calling from. I asked "May I ask who is calling" TWICE they sated it was regarding "a personal business matter" and still didn't state the company they worked for .... I said I was not available and hung up.

Oh and they didn't leave a message the first time they called. So, if it's regarding a "personal business matter" but they can't even leave messages, it's a scam.

Called my work number.. appeared as "TOLL FREE CALL".. against my better judgment I answered with my first name.  There was a pause, then a woman's voice "Is this **? This is Citibank". I hung up! Now I regret answering! I never answer when an unknown number on my cell and work - why would a Toll Free Number be calling me? It didn't make sense.  I will ignore if they call again.

Called the number back it was Costco. Most likely it's about the change over in the credit card. Meh...

It was Costco "Anywhere" Services"?....hmmm

Same number called me again at work. The "TOLL FREE CALL" really gives them away.  I hung up. :) Next time I will divert the call so it stops ringing.

This is Citibank credit card services specific to the Costco Anywhere credit card. It is legitimate. We did a transaction over the phone and I saw immediate results on my online account.

No. Due to caller ID spoofing (faking) you can NEVER assume that the caller, on an incoming call, is who they say they are. You must look it up, verify it, and never give out personal or financial information on a call you did not make, and to a number you have not verified.

SPAM.  All these folks are notifying you it is SPAM and one measly person tries to say it is legit? LIAR.... If you really want to do business with them and they are legit, they won't waste their time nor yours by repeatedly calling and hanging up or lying and saying they are IRS... SPAM.. HANG UP... DON'T BELIEVE.  And sure they called again.  I am not doing business with anyone that is o/c.
