URG "United Recovery Group"

Received 2 calls today 1 with a message They just say they are debt collector(automotive). They never say my name or who the company is.

they keep calling my cell phone and do not leave a message jus keep hanging up.  I looked it up and it is a debt collector but if they do not leave a message or say what they want what can I do.

leaving hang ups and messages for someone that no longer has the phone as they are in prison.  Told them he has no one and to stop calling the number but they do not stop

Same thing.  Receive multiple calls, usually minutes apart, sometimes hours apart but on the same day  from 855-812-4094 and they leave no message.  Then within minutes will get a call from a 4 digit number like 9925.

Over and over again! Its ACS Litigations with au different number! Never stops! Tell them the conversation is being recored and they will stop for a month and back at it again. I asked for proof by mail, email or fax and was told it's a sealed envelope and if I didnt go get a green dot card and read the numbers by 5 pm then I will be arrested. Ok lol. Block them. They will call family...don't know how they get the info to intimidate you. Dony answer or call back. Warn your family. The scum will eventually go away. If I owed it, I would pay but the info is sealed and they can't tell me? Please!  Lmao!

It's illegal for them not to disclose what you owe if it was a real debt you would get a bill in the mail and have 30 days to respnd to that bilend of story if they don't do that theh they are crooksl

They keep calling my cellphone, but fail to leave a message.

Keep getting calls from this number.  It used to be a recording about URG debt collection (FYI I have no debt).  Now it just hangs up after one ring.  When I call this number it says "Number is not in service.".

Been getting calls from different numbers early in the morning.   Today they called again really early in the morning and finally left a vm asking for someone I never heard of.   Called it back out of frustration and they said URG debt collection agency.  Told them to remove my number and don't call again as I don't have any debts!  They said it will be removed within 48 hrs.

Got 2 calls from this number earlier today and no message was left either time.  Came up on Caller ID as follows:

Yup.  URG.  Total scum.  In 2013 I attempted to service them with a legal complaint.  I had two addresses for them.  One was in Lehi and the other in Draper.  Both are in Utah, just south of Salt Lake City.  The first was a broom closet and the second was a law office where I was told that they never heard of URG.

URG got slammed by the state of Nevada for their robo call activity.  You can google the case!

And As I wrote in the last post, I came up empty handed when I tried to run them down in Levi and Draper, Utah.

I have blocked their Number since the first call I received. Checking my history they have called 25 more times and still counting. At least with their number I am not annoyed.

If they told you get a green dot card, etc.  I checked with an attorney and was told scammers.  Don't pay them a cent.  I don't even know how they got my number.  I notice when I go on to look at car dealers - I'm looking for new car - I start getting weird phone calls like from them.  All scammers.  I'm afraid to go on the internet because why do scam calls start when go on.

They can get all family numbers from sights online.  They are usually heavily accented people calling.  Don't even answer phone.  No clue why they call and got my numbers.   Scammers - if can't send you anything physically in the mail don't trust them.  Block them and report to the FTC and also FBI IC3 complaint center.

Don't believe them.  They won't remove your number.  They will continue to call.  Scammers.
