Got a call from 855-825-6859 at 8:57 AM today.   They left no message.  Caller ID said "Toll Free Call."

Just got a call from this number. Of course they left no message. Came in with just the phone number in place of Caller ID.

I called the number and they said they are from the national life association.  The number has an automated voice message only. They have a Facebook page but website not working. They have been calling us everyday for the past 3 days now. I believe they are soliciting donations but this group seems shady to me because there is not a lot of information about them, who they are.  The call can be traced to Texas.

been getting their calls for a month, they do not leave any mesgs. I m in PA.the caller ID shows "unavailable"

They keep calling  and calling. I did answer and there wasn't anyone on the other end.

They call 3 to 4 times a day! They need to stop. They are realy annoying!

National Rifle Association (NRA) anonymous robo call - no message - caller blocked

Just got a call from this number before 9:00 am this morning.  I think this number is associated with 855-638-7579 and 855-801-3254, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I don't know how I got along without caller ID in the past. I just don't answer these calls now and I have much less aggravation in my life. My phone service only allows 12 blocked calls and those slots were filled up right away. I wish it allowed unlimited blocked calls. These scammers, surveys, political calls just won't stop.

Let it ring or p/u the receiver & down it goes.
No sense reporting it cause it's a waste of time.

June 25,2012. Got a call from them and I am going to put them in my phone as call rejected. Call your phone company and see if they can set you up for call rejection. Mine did.

CID shows "Toll-Free Call", but recorded message identifies the caller as the National Rifle Association.
I did not listen to the entire message, so do not know if this is a "political" call or the NRA begging for donations.

Got a call from 855-825-6859.
Picked up recording says one moment please. Waited
Got Janet on the phone, went on some speil about rights and states rights.
Asked what I should do. Janet says I should make a donation to the NRA. (Did not say National Rifle Association).
Asked if I could send a check, Janet says I don't have the address and it would be best to make a donation via credit card.
I said i did not have a credit card because the banks were all crooks, then she hung up on me.

This is a scam using the NRA name to buffoon people to think they are the National Rifle association.
By the way the area code 855 is bogus. Probably Skype Out from overseas.

and got today's daily call at 8:20 am from 855-547-6382
Scam company - at least they gave me July 4th off!
Answered it by mistake once & they hung up.

It's the National RIFLE Association. Nice timing after the Aurora shootings.

It's a scammer pretending to be the NRA.  They don't even have NRA's address for mailing a check.  They just want your credit card number so they can run up your bill.

These scammers pick targets to fake based on current emotional sentiments.  Of course they will pick NRA when the NRA or gun ownership is currently under attack, because such events bring up the supporters (and others).  For other kinds of events that bring our supports for other groups, the scammers pretend to be them, at those times.

What is needed is federal legislation to require all phone companies to block invalid caller ID info (e.g. if the caller ID data from a PBX is not a number assumed to that PBX trunk, the call is to be blocked and not put through).  It's these PBX trunks how scammers are faking caller ID numbers.

rec'd a call yesterday (this number calls a few times a week).This time I answered..there was hesitation then a woman asked to speak to my husband..i said he wasn't home and asked her who's calling. She said I'm ffrom the National Rifle Association..I told her never call here again and hung up...
