2 messages were left on my landline on Nov 03 saying I owed money to the IRS. I knew it was a scam but called back on Nov 04 and was told I owed $2,786 from audits of my 2008-2012 returns. When I asked for documentation of this amount, I was hung up on. I learned my sister received a call yesterday from the same number demanding the same amount.

i got two messages on my land line phone and one I answered and guy with deep accent was asking for me I kept asking him who he is and why he is calling he didn't want to tell me, I told him that person doesn't live at this address so he hanged up. I know that IRS number starts with 800,,,

I got the same type of a call warning me about a lien on all my assets.

I was told that I was to be arrested in the next 1/2 hour, for non payment of taxes. Ha, ha, ha

Just received message that my they were going to put a lien on my assets if I did not settle my IRS debt. Thought is was gonna be another annoying election call. What a surprise!

Same bull. I attempted to return the call but it says, rather sneakily if I might add, that no one is currently at that extension, without identifying what entity owns the number. Total scam, but a particularly mean one knowing how afraid of the IRS some people are. Grrr

These morons left me 4 voicemails in 4 hours.  I guess when the threat to place a lein on your assets is to be enacted within 1 day, it's get a hold of someone or bust :)  Knowing it was a scam, I finally spoke to a man with an Indian accent.  I informed him that what he was doing was wrong, and that Kali was going to slaughter and pee on his cattle and eat his children ... Oh, and that his family will now be cursed with Polio :)

Just got the same call that I was going to be arrested for non payment of taxes and a lien was placed on my assets. Wow these guys are busy today!

just got 2 calls from 855-843-1480 saying we owe $2,049 and they were going to put a lien on our house and all bank accounts and to hire a really good lawyer.

Called me 3 times Told me I had IRS debt and that lien on all my assets.  I contacted him and he was rude with accent. Said to listen and not interrupt. So I said it sounded like fraud and he hung up! He said a debt collector will come to explain everything  and that notices have been sent out.  Bull!

Call received on home phone from 877-561-2272 saying they were putting a lien on __________ at___________(no name or address was said) and to call 855-843-1480. When I called I spoke to a man with a thick accent. He asked my home phone number and then said they needed to speak to my husband. Later I had my husband call and he also was asked for our home phone number. Then the 'agent' said that we had defrauded the government and someone was being sent to our house to arrest him. When my husband asked for his supervisor, he said he was the supervisor.  He then hung up.

Arrest these clowns, please!!  Three calls from them so far this morning with same message left as the others.  Told in the past by these guys that they would be here to arrest me in 1/2 hour and also hung up on when I questioned it as a scam.  

There is a report link to the DOJ for extortion fraud, please report them so action will be taken and we can keep an ignorant from being taken advantage of.

I got two calls from this company and was thinking. I don't make enough money to owe the IRS!!!!! And the voicemails were a recording with no information. I'm so glad I googled this number vs. calling them back.

IRS does not call and leave generic messages.  This is not the only # they use. Don't waste time calling them back.

Today, I got a call from 855-843-1480 to my cell phone with a message from "IRS".
I called back to this number and a guy with a deep English accent asked me what my number is. I told him my number and he knew my name and home address. He told me he is a IRS officer and I owed IRS $3,300 tax fraud from 2008-2013. He wanted to process my debt over the phone or I would be arrested. I told him that I never received any document from the IRS. He said there were 2 letters mailed to me but there were return. He said he would be calling the local authority to arrest me and put me to jail for "a long time". I hung up.
This is really a scam. Put these people to jail "FOR A LONG TIME" please.

I guess this scammer is having a busy day...  My area code is 707. Don't call them back.

Yes, I too am at home waiting for the "debt collector" and the police to come take me to jail. Jerks.
