missed call to my cell number

missed call to my cell as well

I was called twice today by RBC. I didn't answer the first one, than the second one hung up on me.
Then this number called. I answered. It was someone claiming to be working for Equinox on behalf of RBC to sell a a private protection package against identity theft. The person was very rude, even though I made it clear that I wasn't interested. I had to do something I hate doing, which is hang up while she kept talking.

Mine was in French, maybe that's why it uses a different number.

Missed call to my cell. Only rang a few times

Got a missed call on my cell also...I dont even know who it was or what they wanted.  When I checked my VM  all I heard was music so I deleted...looks like I'm going to have to add my cell to the don't call list.

I got many calls from RBC and then this number.

Yup got it today! once for now ...but no previous calls from RBC though!

This number has called me at least 3 times now. I never answer and they never leave a VM. I am a RBC customer, but haven't received any calls from RBC. Judging by this thread, going to continue to ignore these calls :)

Me too - now 3 missed calls to my cell phone. And I am on the do not call list. I am an RBC customer but haven't recieved calls from thim. Is this someone that haclked our info from RBC and is calling?

These guys are persistant. A few days in a row, calling my cell. I didn't pick up. If it's RBC then I'm really mad. How many times did I have to tell them not to call me unless there is an issue with my account, but never ever in order to upsell. Not even cell phone keeps you safe from intrusion anymore.

These people call my # at least 3 times a day........never leave a message. They are an annoying pest. If ever I find they are affiliated with RBC, I'll close out my bank accounts with them!

I have received 4 missed calls from this number; no voice mail. I am also an RBC customer, and will be really annoyed if this is someone affiliated with them. Very annoying.

i have been having the same problem all week with them calling and no one on the end of the phone, i finaly spoke to someone today and when i got off the phone i called rbc rite away and they have no clue on that phone number or what they are trying to sell, so be very careful, they are not calling on behalf of rbc

It is a marketing company: VRI

They do marketing or surveys for banks

This number is calling me twice a day. I don't answer. But RBC related numbers come in all the time. Is the bank selling information?? How do these people get our phone numbers?? Mine is unlisted and I'm sick of this.

Two calls per day everyday. No one on the other end, always hangs up after 2 rings. I am an RBC client as well, but before I call them I would like to know how the general consensus has been RBC related.
