- Eric L.Company is Albion Global or other derivative. Make it sound like they have file from Microsoft (from all those annoying updates) showing you have a specific problem. When questioned further, they said they got my info of the problem off the "server"...not Microsoft...not Dell...not my cable/internet provider. At this point I knew it was a scam and disconnected.
- Caller: Albion Global

- WICKED replies to MartyScam, scam, scam I was having trouble with my McAfee services and I clicked on what I thought was McAfee web site this guy came on the line and started running a remote info on my computer he stated he was a contracted technician for McAfee.. then he he even typed in the words hacked into my computer and was going thru all my programs I started feeling strange when he said he needed $274.00 for a 2 year contract. He was Indian. He typed in Ricky Bell and this phone # the web address was www.albiopnccare.com.... I call McAfee and found they do not work for them at all. Scam, scam !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- MarieI was scam yesterday 2/28/13 by them . They posed as Yahoo techs to help me out with a problem in my yahoo stores. I talked to and indian guy called DJ. He got inside my computer before I knew it . He went through my programs. Felt real uncomfortable but it was too late. I had to cancel my credit cards and change all my security passwords. BEWARE!!
- AnonymI somehow reached these people when trying to get in touch with Mozilla Firefox Technical Support. I spoke with a man from India, he said the company was called Albion Global. He said they worked for Firefox & he needed to scan my computer to find & fix the problem but I first had to pay for a warranty. So I stupidly purchased a 3 year warranty for my laptop & printer for $500. I gave him complete access to my computer, not thinking about him having access to all my personal information. He told me it had a Trojan virus and supposedly fixed it. He gave me this phone number: 855-857-1687 to call anytime I was having trouble with my computer or printer & they would fix it. This was 2 1/2 months ago and I've still been feeling uncomfortable about it so I decided to do a little research and came across this conversation page. I wonder if it's too late to dispute that charge on my credit card since this surely sounds like fraud. Perhaps I can call that number and ask for a reimbursement. I don't know what to do. I found a Mozilla Firefox website yesterday and called that phone number but again I got an independent contractor. This one was called OmniTech Support. Why can't I talk to someone at Firefox? It's irritating!
- Caller: I tried to call Mozilla Firefox

- CWG40 replies to scammed grandmaIf you used a credit or debit card then I'd go to the bank quick-time and cancel out the existing cards and get new ones. You've been scammed by people in India . Maybe the bank can reverse the transactions for fraud.
They are scammers, you simply have to stop paying them. The only way to do that is to cancel out your existing cards.
Never allow anyone you do not know have either financial information over the phone, or access to your computer.
Also, you are gong to have to take your computer to a brick and mortar local establishment and have it looked at for malware . There's a possibility that the left all sorts of malware on your computer . - I've figured it out. replies to JayI have used Albion Global for over a year. What has happened is the bad guys are posing as them and do the calling. Albion Global does not call. I have a number to call them. Plus they always use their Indian names and not American names (like Peter, Charles) with t heir Indian accents. I too have been scammed by the callers who convinced me China was hacking into my computer right that minute and why they called me. And, they even showed me. (Later when I called the good guys, they showed me how this is done and took all that the bad guys put on my computer off and restored it.) Albion global is now going to change it's name to separate from the scammers who call , posing as them. The good guys' number is: 1 919 249-7807 and ask for Virender
- julia replies to Jenny| 2 repliesyes i also received that kind of calls but finally i found the correct number 1-919-249-7807, at the technician name Virender Singh he is a very good guy and he is very helpful.
