They called me saying I have a payday loan from 2011 but couldn't give me the date.   Would not give me their address said because of  security reasons.   It's a SCAM!!!!!

Same company calling with what was termed as formal conplaint and i needed to respond right as they were filing papers on me.  Once i dialed 2 to speak with someone it turned out ro be someone collecting foe a supposed payday loan from 2013 using deposit info of wells fargo bank.  I never had an account at this bank.  I also asked for their address and would not give to me and slammed down phone. Tried again to fet info from them and threatened them with legal action. Told me to just do that and hung up on me again.

I just got a voicemail from them saying they were trying to find my whereabouts regarding a formal complaint and said they were going to pass the info on to the local court system. Please. The courts are not looking for me. My friends husband is the asst district attorney, and I have many friends who are cops. Nice try though. Idiots.

My supervisor received a recorded message on her voicemail indicating someone was looking for me.  I called back and got the same run around....payday loan from 2012 or 2013.  They couldn't, of course, tell me the name of the company from which the loan originated but I needed to settle this now before further action was taken.  I told them that I was at work and I would need to check my records at home.  I have not heard from them since.

Called my relatives home seeking information about my whereabouts and needed to find me immediately or court paperwork would be filed due to a complaint that was placed against me. Well guess what [***] already filed a complaint with the police department about you guys. This is 100% a scam and that used to voice changer when they left a message.

Don't waste your time. Called with same story as other posts here. Threatening to file legal action. If someone is going to file legal action against you, you would receive a letter in the mail, not a phone call. Block this scam.

A man called my mother's house from this number and left a message on her machine.  He said that a complaint had been filed about me at the 'county courthouse' and told her to call if she had knowledge of my whereabouts.

Received a call from two different numbers (855-874-4286 and 855-865-2174) saying they were looking for me for a "formal complaint" that was filed about me.  Asked for a call back with knowledge of my whereabouts. This recorded message came after a call about a month ago from a live lady indicating that I took out a payday loan in 2011 and didn't pay it back.  That is a load of crap because I know for a fact that I didn't take a payday loan. When I asked her why she didn't send formal paperwork to my home, she said because they sent several notices to my old address (that I haven't lived at in 10 years, mind you) and that I had to pay now or she was going to file with the local court system. Really?  If you can't find me to send me this supposed paperwork, then how are you going to send something to the local court system?  I also asked her why nothing was filed with the credit agencies and she hung up on me. TOTAL SCAM - don't fall for it. If any of it were true, the company that you supposedly took a payday loan from would have reported it to the credit agencies.  I check my credit reports every year and have an excellent credit rating.

Don't fall for it.. they called my parent's house too and left a message. They are doing this to anyone who has ever had any past credit issues, regardless of how long it has been, just to see what they can get. Not sure if this is the case for you, but I had credit issues over 10 years ago and once fell for a scam like this one (I was scared and gave money to the people).  After I called my attorney, he said I shouldn't have paid anything to them because it was a phone scam and if it had been valid, I would have received a letter. It has been several years since then, but I do wish I knew then what I know now.

I got a call from 855-865-2174 on 2/26/2016, & another from 855-874-4286 on 2/29/2016 (today) with the same spiel that MP heard.  The message said they were looking for (sounded like) "Juan Oneta Soldier McKimby".  I don't know who they are, but don't ever answer either of these two numbers.  I've never taken out a payday loan either.

Some guy left a recorded voicemail on my work cell phone today around 11am. Then they called my work office. Called them back and a young lady answered and won't give the name of the companies.
Same numbers mention in other stories but she turned and called me back from a (513)427-0853 number (Anna). Supposedly they were taking me to court over a fradualent check that I wrote in 2011. I haven't had checks in over 15 yrs and I wasn't living in that state they mention!

Got voicemail from this number saying there was a formal legal complaint against me. When I called same bogus story as so many debt scammers. Had a bunch of my personal info. Talked about a pay day loan I took out (which I never did) from a bank account from a bank I don't bank with anymore. Threatened court action against me, unless I settled with some unknown creditor. When I asked for a debt statement as well as a physical address for legal correspondence they said they can't give out their address for security reasons. I asked for the name of the creditor and they refused to give me that info. When I told them it was actually illegal for them to try to collect a debt with out giving me an address for legal correspondence they hung up on me. Then they started calling my wife's phone. These people are downright evil and prey on the elderly and poor. I think they got my info because many years ago I applied for a payday loan which I didn't even take out because of the hilarious interest they wanted to charge, because of a lot of the info they had on me was so outdated (like my old bank). Also, the funny thing is they called themselves "TFF" when I asked what TFF stood for the lady said, "It doesn't stand for anything." These guys are parasites.

I finally had the opportunity to answer one of these calls.  Turns out they are a collection agency.  They are looking for someone that has the same name as me.  All other credentials are wrong.  I did not offer them any of my personal information. I spoke to some legal supervisor that said my cell phone number would be removed.  We will see....

Called my mom's number and work number.......said it was for a loan in 2011...The place was called Allied Loan...  so tired of this crap....wish there was a way to stop them period....

Was an automated call. Threatening and malicious. Looking for some unknown-to-me person. Got another call from 855-2874220. Finally pressed 1 and spoke to someone. I was the one who threatened then !!  Said they'd take my # off their files. A fully BS scam call.

I received a voice mail from them indicating I had committed fraud and to call right away. I live in Canada and the number came up New York! fraud forsure!
