I received a call from this number at my work number the caller left an ext 251  I have no idea why they were calling and what it was about.  The name of the company is Global Trust Management .  I believe its a scam

I just got a call from that number claiming to be "Global Trust Management" then later in the half hour phone call claiming to be "Global Trust Corporation".  Initially, a woman claimed I wrote a bad check to a company I received a loan from over four years ago then proceeded with questioning me about what I was prepared to do to pay back that loan.  When I asked for more details in writing about the loan, which by the way I payed back about 4 yrs ago, the woman became defensive and began speaking over me, using the threat of documenting in her files that I was refusing to repay the loan.  I asked for the manger who came on the phone after I was placed on hold with music playing as most companies would and who became equally defensive and unprofessional when I asked for the details of the company he worked for.  He would not give me an address and insisted I "look them up" online.  He was adamant that I work something out with him on the phone and also threatened me with documenting a refusal to pay in my account with them.  Long story a little shorter I refused to give them any of my personal information which resulted in them becoming irate and hanging up on me.  The website the "Director of Operations" which was the title of the manager I was transferred to, referred me to was http://gtmcorporation.com/.  This dynamic duo will use intimidation and wit to attempt to swindle you out of your information and money. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.... or do.

Just got a voice mail from a woman citing a "claim number" and for me to call them back. This is indeed a scam making its way across the country. They are hoping to intimidate people into paying on a loan from a payday loan company that was charged off. Once you call their bluff and tell them to "file the charges", or "serve you" the phony court papers, you won't hear back from them for a while. But if you tell them you are reporting them (and their phone number) to the FBI, FTC, the Department of Justice, State Attorney General, etc., they will definitely leave you alone.

I received a call at Work from this Company as well about a payday loan from a company I never heard of. The represenative, Ms Lake said the loan was made in O5', 6 yrs ago. She was evasive and tried threatening me. After refusing to call her bluff she hung up on me. I am reporting them to the ftc and posting information about them everywhere.

and I asked them various questions about their company...who they are, who did they buy the old debt from (debt management corporation) which I also could not find any info on, and what their website was (http://www.gtmcorporation.com) which is not up (under construction for the most part) but this site was not up when they called me in late November 2011.  HA!  Funny thing is, I did have a pay day loan for roughly around 630 which they had information about but the account number was not right- I TOLD Ms LAKE (ALL MY DEBTS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED FROM LOANS/ CCDS/ ETC. SINCE 2008).  SCAMMERS INDEED!

this number has been falling me for about 2 days and a guy by the name of John Cunningham said i owed more than 2k to a furniture company who banks with wells fargo. he tells me the story that wells fargo payed off the furniture company and now i have to pay back wells fargo. He threatened me with police, he threatened to take me to court. Well I called the furniture company and they said they do in house financing and that they do not operate with any bank. then i found this web page which helped alot, thanks all !

the same John Cunningham keeps  calling my mother saying that i owe money and have 24 hours to decide what to do about it i have past debt and charge offs due to losing a business and having a terminally ill child but i do not owe this company or any of their affiliates anything but they are driving my elderly mother crazy ..... dont do business with them

I recieved another call from this company after I had this number blocked from my phone. The new number is 813-400-2060. they again were hostile and every time I asked for more info regarding what i supposedly owed them, they would state that I was refusing to pay the debt and hung up on me 4 times. I then called the loan company they stated i owed money to, and they said they had no account registered to my name or social security number. It is a scam!!!! Do not fall for it!!!

I have been harassed from a company called Global Touch They have gotten her number from somewhere when she filed an application for a car. Since then she has received numerous phone calls to her cell phone and her workplace, in fact they called her job on Friday 5 times. There must be someway these people can be stopped. They are also posing as a collection agency and threatening to take her to court but they don't  send any info to validate that she owes anything. They just call her job and home daily. This company has been doing this people for a long time and needs to be stopped, please if you can give me some advise to share with her please help me. I have sent a few websites to help you get a better idea of how they work.

Amy, simply tell the agency that the next time they call your place of business that you will take them to court for harrassment, and you will report them to the FTC agency. This will get them off of your back, and if it doesn't follow through with it, and they will end up owing you money. What they are doing is illegal, and as a consumer, you are protected against this kind of harrassment by debt collectors.

I Just received the same phone call today.  Was this really a scam.. I told the gentleman that I had paid a loan off that I had with the company that he was calling about.  He said that I needed to show proof that the loan was paid off.  I am so glad that I read these messages.

They are calling an elderly relative looking for someone else and harassing her repeatedly and then she hangs up.   They call back a couple of days later.

Received a new phone call from 813 400 2069 asking a Mr Willburn to call back.  There has never been a Mr Willburn at this number.  Thanks for the website -  I left a message on it - and if they call again, will report them.

I received a phone call from them today and somehow, after asking to speak with a manager, wound up speaking to everyone in their little collection world and they were all unprofessional talking over me, telling me my husband was a liar, & placing me on hold for over 12 minutes during one conversation. When I asked for all of the paperwork that the alleged debt came from they stuck me on hold for over 12 minutes, I then called back and spoke with another rude person. I am going to report them. They had all of our personal information. SS#'s, bdays, addresses. I was so shocked and upset, I called the local authorities and they said they can't do anything about it because they are a ligitimate collection agency. I am at a stand still at this point. All I know is that this sounds strange, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! BTW they wouldn't even tell me how to contact a CEO or President. The office manager was the best I got and definately was not making it happen.

This company called looking for my son. They stated they were calling in regard to a claim filed against him. I am tired of getting these types of calls. My son has no outstanding debts and these callers are insistant.

Called asking for my uncle and called from 1-813-400-2063 again. Linda Lake asked me to tell my uncle somebody filed a claim against him and he needed to call her back before 4:00p.m. at her extension number 243. My uncle has a perfect credit score. This is a scam and they are very tricky. I almost believed it. She tried making me tell her who I was and my relationship to my uncle but I refused to tell her anything. She knew my uncle had a daughter and a wive. How scary is that?

Called my grandmothers house leaving a callback #of 855-875-2506 ext 267. Mr Brown was his name i have no clue who gave them my grandmothers number. She is eldery things like this just worrys her. I am angry the called my grandmother. Its some kind of sad cam. I am very upset and i do not want them calling my grandmother with this bs.

yeah just yesterday I also got a call from some guy named Mr.Brown. he didnt even leave his full name or told me what it regarded which was  really fishy. glad yall posted this up thank you. I don't be scammed
