Some guy called my landlord - not sure why but if the want too speak with me then call me you weasel

I picked up said hello and nothing on the other end then they hung up. Why would you call me then hang up. Smh

Sometimes it's just to find out if the phone number they're calling is a valid number with a live person. I suggest not answering if they call again, and don't call the number back, as that, too, will validate your phone number. It could very well be a scammer calling, and if your number gets flagged as "live" you can expect to get a lot more calls from other scammers as well.

They called my parents house looking for me. When I called to see what this is for, found out it was for a account that is being payed on through a different  company.  Told the person this and they of course wanted a payment.  We told them if they had the account we should be getting something in the mail saying so. We hung up and Called the place that we have been making payment too and yes they still have the account.

They wouldn't say why they were calling until I gave them my personal information.  If course I refused. I couldn't understand her very well because of HEAVY accent. If they are a collection agency,  the law says they have to disclose that to you, so I think it's a scam to get personal information

This is indeed a collection agency.   The problem with this company, when they called me, is that they immediately ask for the last four of your social and your date of birth -- without giving you any indication of who they are and why they are requesting that information.  This is to determine if they have the right person.   In my case, they did not have the right person and I expected this, but I forced them to stop being so secretive before I gave up any info.

I didnt answer and never do if the number isnt in my contact list. They have called a couple of times but never leave a message. Was reading online that 855 area codes charge the persob receiving the call not the caller.

These fools call me all hours of the day and evening as late as 10 pm and up to 2 to 4 times a day/night. Most times I answer and nobody is on the other end just dead air. The one time someone spoke it was some spook from some 3rd world country occupying an outsourced job and I laid into that moron for 15 minutes with every expletive I could think of all the while the dumbass was phishing for my personal info (which I never gave nor even my name) the number is now blocked from ever calling my phone

They call, no one answers and no message. They call constantly.  I don't answer as I do not know who's calling. I have blocked the number.  Then they called my landlords home number which I don't even know. At least leave some kind of info. Very annoying!

They Call daily. Even Sundays and late at night. Never leave a message. blocking  them now after reading all these posts.

They have been calling me since march 19 and I have only answered once, no one answered and they quickly hung up. Don't answer.

This number calling me non stop . I did not answer.

I usually won't answer those 18xx calls; I accidentally answered yesterday.  They asked my full name and verified an address that I havent been used for long time.  They states they are a collection agency, T-Mobile passes them a case that I owe them money.  I was shock cuz I haven't use T-Mobile at least 6-7 years.  Then they told the two numbers that I've never heard/known.  They asked my last 4 digit of SS, then its not match their info.  Now I m worrying....
