Harassing calls from this number claiming we owe money!

they say I owe them money for yellow page ad

Claim I owed money for an add and even showed me the website with my name on it. I thought I cancelled this
But they say I didn't.  Told me they were going to send it to the attorney's. It was a company from New York

They did the same to me. My bank said not to pay & printed out 26 pages of info on this type of scam. The state's attorney general office confirmed this. They prey on us honest hardworking small businesses. Ignore their calls.

Jim Brown from the pre-legal department has been calling for the past several weeks claiming my business owes them for the second year of a two year contract for yellow pages online advertising.

Says we owe money for yellow pages add we did not place. He says his name is Jason Hicks and he is a paralegal for the Yellow Pages, He is relentless!!!

For years have been getting calls at my place of employment about owing money for Yellow Pages ad.  I went a year or so with no calls, now it's starting again saying it's the Pre-Legal department.  Will give very little information as far as an address.  I did get a phone number but they will not give a fax number or any other information.

Could be the same guy that called me.  I thought it was Jason Hex or Hecks but very well could be Hicks.  I think he said he is in the Pre-legal department with Yellow Pages.  I told him I would have to get back to him after checking my notes.  This was over a week ago and he has not called back and I have not called him.  This has been going on for about 5 years now.  I am very sick of these calls and these people trying to get me to send money.  I think it was a year or two since the last call until now.
