Called my job so the administrator called me at home to let me know. I called my consolidation company to find out if the lender was getting their portion of the money and he said it sounded like a scare tactic to get me to pay more money.

It was a scare tactic to try to force you to pay money. They did the same thing to me and I contacted my attorney, and he said it was not only a scare tactic, but also a serious violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) subsections 15 USCA 1692b;1692c(a) and (b); 1692d; 1692e(4), (5), (7), (10), (11), (13) and section 1692g. Whenever you have free time explore the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and read the above-specificied sections in full detail.   Then contact an attorney. Good Luck! cdw

just got a call that i needed to get an attorney. Not only did they call me but they called my husband.

I have received several "nasty" messages from these people, as has my 14 year old son. When I return the call and ask for specific information, none is available. I am thinking it is a SCAM!
