    Do NOT listen to E. Miranda above.  They work for the company and want you to contact them so that collection activity can be considered "active" and to harass you.  There are numerous law suites against them for FDCPA violations.  Ignore them.

    They call and say they are American Profit Recovery, a debt collector.  They do an automated message that says do not continue to listen to this message if you are not so and so.

    Totally illegal. There is no way that this covers 3rd parties overhearing this.
