This number keeps calling me and claiming they are from Time Warner Cable but I verified and they are not

Foreign guy stating my cable problem was fixed.

Called me at 7am, when Im still sleeping. Have called me more than three times in one day. They caim to be Time Warner cable when they leave me a voicemail. Its always from a foreign guy for me, too, and you can hear a lot of background noise of other people talking.

Said he was from Time Warner Cable calling to say they were working on my account and my internet problem should be resolved.

I'm pretty sure it actually is Time Warner Cable.  I called them last night cuz my cable isnt working and someone is scheduled to come out and look at it today.  I also got a voicemail from another number am hour later that I know is for sure Time Warner Cable saying that they did something that may have fixed the issue, like they are saying on here. So if it's not really TWC, they have some pretty dang good timing calling when my cable is out.

Same for me foreign guy asking for my number to confirm my appointment and check my account. Why do I need to give you my number when you just called it? U already knw it. And when he answered he didnt say hes with time warner so I'll wait for the tech to come out.

This is actually Time Warner Cable.  I had scheduled an appointment for service earlier in the week and they were calling about that.  However, I don't answer calls if I don't recognize the phone number and they called 15 times over about a four day period.  I just called the number back and it was answered somewhere in Eastern Asia.  I hung up and called back the local number. They confirmed that it was them and that I NEVER have to give my information to anyone who calls and asks for it. I am always free to hang up and call them back on a known number.  

Called me and the call was exoected.  But they would not talk to me and they hung up.

I called the toll-free number to verify what it was about, and it involved a phone call I made to TWC yesterday regarding my internet connection.  The gentleman who I had spoken to had told me that there were some minor adjustments made, and that my internet connection is working perfectly.  He also cancelled my appointment for a technician to pay me a visit tomorrow afternoon.

Answered, no reply so I just hung up after 2 minutes. They have called 3 times today. 7am, 8am, and 12pm.

Number 855 891 58608 they hung up when I answered but I know it was from a liar.

It's NOT Time Warner Cable. It's a scam; the same number has come up on my Caller ID and the person on the phone pretended to be the IRS. I had TWC block the number and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the FCC:  1-888-225-5322. Beware!!!

This is an automated call from Time Warner Cable to verify an appointment.  I called them and they told me it is a TWC number.

I just verified that this number is affiliated with Time Warner Cable. I however complained that the call seemed suspicious and out of the ordinary.

8558915608 has called me several times today. I finally answered. The foreign speaking gentlemen claimed to be calling from Time Warner Cable; however he did not attempt to verify my information and he had no knowledge that a technician is already scheduled to come to my home. The gentlemen was very unprofessional. I too reported the suspicious call to TWC. I was informed by TWC that this is a common scam that allows the caller to "take hostage" of a customers computer. TWC advised me that the call I received would be reported to the investigations department.

Keeps calling, no name on caller id just this number answer and nothing but dead air on the line. But after reading the first post saying they claim to be Timewarner. I believe this is timewarner considering , the call came shortly after speaking to timewarner over issues with phone and internet.

I received a call stating my DVR was fixed, but it wasn't then he said he would have a tech come out at 10-11 but I scheduled that with TWC earlier today. Then I hung up and the foreign middle eastern called back claiming to be from TWC and saying he had a tech troubleshoot my DVR and that I should check it because the problem was resolved & fixed. It still is not and told him I just talked to him 2 min ago but he said it was someone else! Liar!

This IS a scam . I contacted TWC and they assured me this number is NOT associated with TWC. They instructed me to disregard the number and noted it in my account.

It's Time Warner Cable.  I just received a call from them and they asked me to check my internet.  It wasn't working earlier, and is working now.  What would they be trying to scam?
