- ray09| 8 repliesI've gotten calls from this number on numerous occasions.A heavy Indian accented guy, sounds like a recording after the 3rd call sounding exactly the same.Says they have a serious legal matter to resolve and legal proceedings would begin and I could be arrested for not returning their call.I know they are probably telemarketers but calling My work is causing problems, almost got Me fired at first when claiming something about being from the U.S. Court. They Didn't even know My name, wanted Me to give it to them. Please Don't Give These people at this number any personal information,They certainly got the wrong number when they called Me from 866-894-5103...No Worries Here But It Has Become A Nuisance,Even reported them for threatening and they still call.
- CM replies to ray09| 5 repliesI've received around 12 calls from this number (which shows up Unknown) over the past 4 hours. It's the same voicemail each time with a foreign man threatening to have me arrested if I don't call him back at the 8558945103 number. I knew it sounded like a scam, but appreciate the posts here to confirm my thoughts.
- danielle replies to CM| 4 repliesso basically we can ignore them? where can I report? help!
- CM replies to danielleI'm ignoring them, but not sure where else to report them. I think these scam artists have way too much time on their hands & need to leave people alone!!!
- melissa| 1 replyThese people are scum, they have called my office about 15 times today, demanding I am a fugitive, that I have a lawsuit (!?) and demanding to talk to my supervisor. They are verbally abusive, when I hang up, they call back. We have to do something about this, my boss is becoming very angry with me, the calls are disrupting business!
- Elspeth replies to ray09You already know you're being called by foreign scammers. Your workplace can and should contact their phone service provider for help in blocking these calls.
- Elspeth replies to melissaYour boss should be angry at the scammers, not you! It's not your fault you've been targeted like this - and you're not the only person to go through this either. These are foreign extortionists who don't care about blowing up the lines at your work. Your boss can call his/her phone service provider and ask for help in blocking these calls.
- melissaThanks Elspeth! :) I did call and Verizon said they can't block business land line number. Argh! It is quiet for now, maybe they will just go away..ha right!
- KathyI have been getting phone calls from this number and keep asking them to send me the information on who I supposedly owe. They have contacted my Supervisor, the main call number, my direct line and my cell phone. I have informed my HR representative of what is going on. I also have contacted the Attorney General's office, the Philadelphia Mayor's office of Consumer Affairs. My next step is to get lawyer to call them. This however will not deter these firms from calling. They will not give you a stationary address to file a complaint. They are scammers and becoming detrimental to people's jobs.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Boababy23They blow up my cell and work number. I just got off the phone with "Frank" who sounds middle eastern and tried to say I had a lawsuit pending for fraud and I don't. I filed a chapter 7 last year that was discharged. It's a scam, but they won't leave you alone. I've blocked the number from my cell, but how do I get them to stop calling my work? They don't care they are violating my rights.
- RobinI got a call from this number saying I needed to the call or be arrested. But not once did they mention my name. At the end of the message it said to press 1 to be connected or 9 to delete this number. I am thinking it is a scam.

- dave replies to favor1getting a bunch of personal information on anyone is a relatively easy thing to do. Each time we call our bank, the phone company, or any other business associate, they almost always ask your birthdate and last 4 of your ssn.
There is so much easy access to all of the personal information floating around on the WWW that the Indians as well as our own local thieves take advantage of it. Don't let anyone, expecially with a voice that sounds like Ghandi, scare you. They are attempting to take the shirt off your back by using what apparently is a respectable business to many, called scamming....or just plain stealing. - jess replies to favor1Also many have noticed how the Indians and those in other countries like to use movie star names. Jack carter is an actor. Many of our AT&T customer service Reps. who can barely speak english are named, Steven, kevin, Mark, etc and they all sound like Ghandi.
