Spam and scam

Receiving calls from this number.  Answered first time and there was no response.  Have not answered on subsequent calls and no voice mail messages have been left.

Have received  calls past 3 days. Showed recorded message but only a little noice when I listened to it.

Called landline - it rang twice and I answered and immediately hung up.  No hello or anything...

(800) 531-5000 This is the contact for Directv.

855-900-7101 is not a legitimate phone number for Directv. I called the Directv to verify.

one call on home phone "...you are being sued by the IRS..."  I hung up
two calls on cell phone, did not answer

Got calls from this number twice in the last 2 days. Voice mail on the last one with just a little noise just as Joyce in a previous post. I will not answer a call like this, ever. Probably spam or scam.

Got a call from this number and did not answer as I did not recognize it. This site has helped me identify it and I thank you. They are now blocked on my phone.

This number and many others call me at least two times each and every day - every day - I am about to get rid of everything electronic - just see if I don't - if someone like Verizon, or DIRECTV does not DO SOMETHING SOON I am going to disconnect all service.  Why should I pay just to have an emergency land line number when I don't need it and only get annoyed by these idiots.

I've been receiving calls on my cell phone from 855-900-7101 since July 10th, and no one leaves a vmail message.  Then a few minutes later I receive another call from a Restricted #, again with no one leaving a vmail message. If this is DirectTV I am cancelling them immediately.

Get thes calls sometimes several times a day. Do not answer and they don't leave message.ok

Calls, I answer, hangs up. Annoyed!

Called today about 12:15.  My iPhone ID'd it as "Suspected Spam".   I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Blocking it - adding it to the hundreds now of other blocked numbers.  At some point, couldn't this huge amount of blocking be detrimental though?  What if a family member is calling from an unknown or previously blocked number.   I just don't know where all this is going for us. SMH

I returned the call. Electronic operator said thank you for calling DirecTV . all operators are busy please leave a message and I'll call you back

Called but did not leave message. Unknown caller

I missed the call, called them back and it was Direct TV.
